We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Great location to the fells . We would stay again .

Thank you for your review, it’s great to hear that you would visit again! Being so close to Whinlatter, Causey Pike and the Coledale Horseshoe, Stanger Cottage is the perfect base for a walking holiday. We hope that you also managed to utilise the brilliant bus service to explore the further reaches of the Lakes as well. We look forward to hosting you again for your next holiday. Loved it
Absolutely loved this cottage. Very cosy, spacious and in a perfect location to explore the Lake District. And it’s less than a minute’s walk to the local pub. The only issue we had was with the oven and grill, which randomly kept cutting out in the middle of cooking food.

Thank you so much for your review of Stanger Cottage! We're thrilled you absolutely loved staying here and that you found it very cosy and spacious. Located in Braithwaite, it sits opposite the Royal Oak - a great place for some food and drink! We're sorry you had issues with the oven, we would've happily sent someone round to take a look for you if it was reported. We hope you had a wonderful time exploring the Lake District! We hope to welcome you back again! Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Lovely cottage, exactly what we expected
Really felt like a home away from home. Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Opposite the pub which was a bonus and amazing location for local hikes - Cat Bells, Raven Cragg etc. hosts were very responsive and quick with any questions we had, we had an issue with the lock in the back door and they came straight away. We were a couple and a dog and we had plenty of space, the welcome package was a nice touch too. Would absolutely stay again in this cottage or another Keswick cottage if we chose a different location.
Beautiful cottage in the heart of Braithwaite. We wanted to be central so that we could catch up with family, and this cottage was perfect being a stones throw from the pub :-) We had welcome packs for cleaning (bin bag, dishwasher tablets, washing liquid etc) and essentials such as milk, sugar, tea, coffee, biscuits etc which are so welcome when you first put your bags down. The house had everything we needed for our stay and more, communication was perfect with the hosts too - I would 100% recommend this cottage.
