Byways is a lovely property in a fantastic location only 5 mins walk to centre. Plenty of free parking on the street outside (first come basis). The property had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean on arrival.
A nice welcome pack of tea, coffee biscuits and milk and a lovely tub of treats and a toy for our dog which was a lovely thought. Would stay again and have no problem using Keswick cottages again. Easy booking and excellent communication.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at your property! The place is beautifully maintained and exceeded all our expectations. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and cozy ambiance made our visit so relaxing and enjoyable. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and peaceful surroundings, which made it even more special for our anniversary trip. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and how well-equipped the property was—it felt like a home away from home. Thank you so much for being such a kind and attentive host. We had a fantastic stay in Stickle Tarn. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need for our stay in Keswick.
Being positioned on the corner of the building, the apartment afforded fabulous views of the mountains on two sides. We were also blessed with unexpectedly amazing weather – wall-to-wall blue skies and sunshine all week! – and this was a real bonus.
The accommodation was ideally located, with restaurants, pubs and shops all within easy walking distance, and we were right by the lake so we enjoyed lovely lakeside walks every day.
Thank you, Keswick Cottages. We will definitely be back!

We have been coming to Portinscale for a number of years. Fell View had everything we needed, it was cosy with the log burner going after a soggy walk. The little touches such as dog treats made it feel that our dog was welcome. We will be returning. Thanks for a wonderful few days
