Frequently Asked Questions

Keys are left in a secure key safe at your property.   We will send the code for the key safe 7 days prior to your arrival.

Unfortunately the cleaning/maintenance team must have sole access to the property between 10am – 4pm to ensure the property is ready for your arrival.     We do offer an early arrival option (entry from 2pm) however there is limited availability and therefore these must be booked in advance.

The property must be vacated by 10am to allow our cleaning/maintenance team enough time to prepare for the next guests. We do offer a late departure option (12 noon) however there is limited availability and therefore this must be organised in advance

If your holiday is more than six weeks away you can secure your booking with a deposit payment of approximately one third.

The balance is due six weeks before the commencement of the holiday (the date will be shown on your booking confirmation). If your holiday is booked within six weeks of the commencement date full payment will be required.

The arrival instructions and directions will be sent 7 days prior to your holiday

All of our properties have heating/electricity included within the total price. If your chosen property has an open fire or wood burner that you would like to use during your stay, logs are available to add to your booking for £9.50 per bag (including kindling).

For your ease (and to save some space in the car!) we have a variety of nursery equipment available to hire for younger visitors. This includes travel cots, wooden cots, high chairs, safety gates, bed guards and a baby back carrier. The equipment is subject to availability and will need to be booked in advance via your customer account, or we can organise nursery equipment hire over the phone for you.

To ensure our wonderful cleaning team can maintain high standards we ask that on departure you leave the property in a tidy condition, strip the beds and remove all refuse/recycling.

We also look after a number of lovely bungalows, ground floor apartments and homes with ground floor bedroom/bathroom facilities. To view the full list of properties please use the ‘Ground floor’ filter on our website or contact our friendly team for advise.

The security deposit (£100 for properties sleeping 1 -4 people or £150 for properties sleeping 5+ people) covers any major damages or breakages in the property. It will be pre-authorised to your card 10 days prior to your arrival.

This can vary from property to property, however as standard to make things a little easier on your arrival before you have had chance to unpack or pick up some shopping we will leave you a refreshments pack, kitchen starter pack including a few dishwasher tablets, bin liner, small bottle of washing up liquid, sponge and cloth, and also one toilet roll per bath/shower room.

We recommend you take out suitable insurance to cover your holiday. If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know immediately and confirm in writing. If the cancellation is prior to 6 weeks before the arrival date of your stay the deposit will be non-refundable. If the cancellation is within 6 weeks of your arrival date the full amount of monies paid will be non-refundable.
