Excellent cottage for stay in Lake District
Excellent location, enjoyed many walks from the door Beautifully refurbished, good layout, particularly liked the open plan kitchen/living space which worked well for us Excellent utility room with great facilities for drying wet kit Only a few minutes drive from Keswick if you need a supermarket shop, but essentials available in village shop

Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We're so happy you found Causey View situated in an excellent location that being the village of Braithwaite. We love that you thought the refurbishment was beautiful and that you particularly enjoyed the open plan kitchen/living room. The utility room is essential after a rainy day. It is only a couple of minutes to drive into Keswick or you can take a 15 minute walk. The village shop in Braithwaite is a great feature of the village and now even has a small café. We hope you enjoyed all the walks you went on and we're so glad you had an excellent stay at Causey View. We hope to welcome you back in the future! Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Holiday Accommodation
We've stayed at Causey View for a holiday for the past three years. Being in Braithwaite, the bungalow is situated in the perfect place. We have enjoyed luxury holidays here and would love to come again. Having said that, the double bed has a hard mattress that my wife cannot get used to. She cannot sleep on it very well at all. For this reason we won't be booking next year, although everything else about the bungalow is absolutely fantastic.

Thank you so much for your review! We love that you're returning guests and find Causey View to be situated perfectly. We hope you had a wonderful time and we hope you consider some of our other cottages based in Braithwaite for your next holiday in the Lake District. Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

This bungalow is a great choice, it seems to be recently decorated so is smart and clean with a modern bathroom and kitchen, and large yet cosy living area and good size bedrooms. It has all the appliances you’d need, good heating and hot water, separate utility room/boot room and is within a couple of minutes walk to the village shop. Off road parking is a bonus. Communication with the owner to extend our stay was easy and well managed.
We recently returned from a wonderful stay in this beautiful appealing to the eye, bungalow which was very impressive immaculately done throughout , with modern contemporary fixtures and fittings throughout ,kitchen bathroom and lounge and double bedroom were just delightful exceptionally clean comfortable and spacious , well equipped with everything you need, the bed was very comfortable with high quality bedding and pillows. with that extra touch to make you feel on a special holiday, the owners also added the extra welcome touch with Prossecco and a box of biscuits on arrival. much appreciated Thankyou. Causey view is also in a lovely location close to some beautiful scenery , the views from the bungalow especially nice ,and great walks. The garden with seating is especially nice and used a lot to relax after long walks, and exploring the Lakes,The 2 pubs are also appealing within walking distance serving delicious food and large beer gardens if fancy eating outside especially the Coledale Inn . Also a local shop around the corner. serving fresh croissant s and pastries was great We would highly recommend Causey view it truly is the loveliest place we’ve ever stayed in the Lake District and have been coming for years could not ask for more ....
