Elm Cottage is a truly wonderful Lakeland residence from which to enjoy your holiday! This pretty two-bedroomed detached cottage is ideally situated within the popular and highly sought after area, Elliott Park, in Keswick town centre.The location is peaceful yet makes an ideal base for exploring with walks from the doorstep, the vibrant shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants only minutes away, and Boothâs supermarket (which has an electric car charging point)plus E-Venture shop for easy bike hire a mere stones throw away. The living room is a lovely place to relax and unwind after a day of adventures with two comfortable leather sofas, quality oak furniture and French doors overlooking the garden area (table and chairs are provided). The modern kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dining and cookware, cupboard and worktop space. There is a fridge/freezer, gas cooker, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and a coffee machine. Upstairs there are two pretty bedrooms, one large twin room and a smaller double room. The twin room is very spacious and has two single beds (which can be made up as a super-king for an additional charge), wardrobe, drawers, and bed-side cabinets. The double room has a double bed, wardrobe, and drawer space. Both bedrooms will be dressed in cool crisp linen and fresh towels for your arrival. The flexibility of bed configuration makes the cottage an excellent choice for families, couples or walkers requiring a bedroom each. The bathroom is newly refurbished with shower over bath, so walkers can soak tired muscles after a day out on the fells! Guests will not need to worry about where to leave their car as there is a private allocated car parking space. Complimentary WiFi Being only about 15 yards away from Quaver Cottage may prove ideal for two families wishing to holiday together but not wanting to be in the same house. Keswick offers plenty of options to keep you occupied during your stay. For walkers the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trial which starts next to the Keswick Leisure centre is a 5 kilometre (10 kilometre there and back) walk along what was once a railway track. It offers beautiful views and is a multi-user trial suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you fancy something with a little more elevation and spectacular views, Latrigg and Walla Crag can be reached from your doorstep, and you can even tick off some Wainwrights! 10 minutes out of Keswick is Whinlatter forest, which offers a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities. Keswick itself offers lots of amenities, from shops to cafés, pubs to theatres, you will be spoilt for choice.
