Quaver Cottage is a delightful property on the banks of the River Greta, ideally situated for those who want to be close to the town centre yet somewhere quiet. Only a few minutes away from Market Square, yet set amongst trees with a rural outlook to the rear, the lounge having patio doors giving access to the communal grounds and the riverside beyond. Description

The lounge is very private and has french doors looking out over the rear garden area where you'll have frequent visits from the local wildlife! There is a TV, DVD & stereo with DAB radio, CD player and iPod docking station, very comfortable suite, fire with beech surround, oak dining table and four chairs. A garden table and some chairs are stored under the stairs.

The kitchen has fully-fitted units, electric fan oven & gas hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washer-dryer.

Upstairs, the king-sized room has a solid oak king-size bed, oak bed side tables and wardrobe. This room looks out directly over the River Greta and towards the fells.

The twin room has two solid oak single beds, built in wardrobe and oak drawers. Both bedrooms have co-ordinating bedding and curtains and will be dressed in luxury linen and towels.

The bathroom has a modern, white suite. Bath with shower over, WC, wash basin and shaver point.

This quiet, comfortable cottage is only two minutes from the town centre, backs onto the river Greta, and overlooks fields towards Portinscale and the fells beyond.

Quaver Cottage is in a very quiet location and is ideal for those wishing to get away from the noise of town whilst still being very close to the centre.

Quaver Cottage has gas central heating and is fully double glazed.

The cottage is suitable for one small dog.

Another lovely stay
Thanks to Keswick Cottages for another fantastic holiday at Quaver Cottage: fantastically equipped kitchen, extremely comfortable bed and cosy living room with great dinning facilities and comfy sofas. The location could not be better, with Booths a stone's throw away and the lake an easy stroll. Everything is perfect and the weather even cooperated with excellent hiking conditions. We're already planning our return trip next year.

Lovely, comfortable accommodation
Excellent accommodation. Couldn't wish for anything else. Well stocked kitchen, lovely lounge area and very comfortable beds. Ideal location for the buses and Booths! A bonus with the parking slot as we didn't use the car all week. And we were fairly lucky with the weather

Quaver cottage is a very comfortable well equipped cottage
We enjoyed our stay at quaver cottage and I would definitely like to stay there again next time we holiday in Keswick. The cottage is clean and comfortable and very well equipped and in a wonderful location which is quiet yet within a few minutes walk to the town with all the pubs and restaurants and many shops and an added bonus is that it is a minutes walk from the booths supermarket which is really handy and stocks superb food and wines etc, so we look forward to returning in the near future.

The perfect spot! We loved our time at Quaver cottage. It’s clean, beautiful and has comfy beds. Perfect location to get to town a surrounding sites. Happy to recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Quaver Cottage. It’s in a quiet area yet very close to all the amenities of Keswick. Free parking is a definite bonus. The cottage is extremely clean and extremely well equipped. As it is someone’s holiday home it is more cosy and homely than some other more corporate places. The cottage is close to the river and the garden attracts a lot of birds. I thoroughly enjoyed watching a family of pheasants hanging out in the garden and I think it’s the first time I’ve seen rabbits just outside my back door! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place - I thought it was great.

A fabulous cottage in a wonderful location, just a couple of minutes from the centre but really quiet despite that. I felt at home immediately and it was really cosy and clean.
