Lovely stay causey view , would definitely recommend
Situated in a beautiful part of the lake district , we had a lovely stay at causey view , the property was spotless throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need , the bed was very comfortable with quality bed linen & comfy pillows . The bathroom was modern with hot water , a good shower & a nice bath with fluffy white towels too . The living area was spacious & a cosy log burner to relax after a day out walking . Perfect location & lots of pleasant walks within walking distance, or a short drive away . The property had a good utility room which was heated & great for drying muddy boots & wet coats . Would definitely recommend & would definitely return . Great value for money . Thank you

Our 4th visit to Causey view-says it all. We love the location in Braithwaite and it is quiet and convenient to Keswick for all amenities.

Hi, Alison! Wow, fourth visit! That's what we like to hear. We're so proud to get to play a part in your holidays, and we love to see guests choosing to book with us again, so this means a lot! We're so pleased that you've enjoyed another visit to Causey View. While the location is incredibly convenient, we also love having a Nespresso coffee machine and Ninja air-fryer in the property, with the additional benefits of ample parking, separate bath and shower units, and additional locked storage for bikes, kayaks, and anything else you may need for your Lake District adventure! We hope to see you again soon. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages.

Causey View (when the rainclouds allowed)
Great location in Braithwaite and well appointed cottage with nice, shiny bath (welcome after a day on the fells) and lots of useful equipment for home cooking - would have been great to have had a few more baking trays to put multiple roasting items in the oven but the air fryer worked really well, so maybe not needed for most people. Nice and well-cleaned with plenty of boot and waterproofs drying space in the utility room, loads of coat hanging hooks too - really useful and surprisingly overlooked in many other cottages in which we have stayed over the years. Ambient background lighting for evenings - a reading light would be a great addition to the lounge/sitting room area for planning th enext day's ventures but minor and plenty of room to spread the map out on the table. All of the key elements for a superb stay and a homely feeling to the place that makes it feel very welcoming. Overall, very satisfied, would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends wanting to find a good base in Braithwaite, which is a great base for walking the NW fells from the door, with plenty of choices to eat out in the evening within 5mins walk too.

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your review. Causey View in the village of Braithwaite is the perfect base for a holiday in the Lakes. It is only a short distance from Keswick with all it's quirky, independent shops and Derwentwater where you can take the launch round the lake. Braithwaite itself has lots to offer from fell walks right from your doorstep, Go Ape up at Whinlatter and several pubs serving good food and traditional ales. The cottage itself is finished to a high standard and is a real home from home. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
