Keswick offers plenty of options to keep you occupied during your stay. For walkers the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trial which starts next to the Keswick Leisure centre is a 5 kilometre (10 kilometre there and back) walk along what was once a railway track. It offers beautiful views and is a multi-user trial suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you fancy something with a little more elevation and spectacular views, Latrigg and Walla Crag can be reached from your doorstep, and you can even tick off some Wainwrights! 10 minutes out of Keswick is Whinlatter forest, which offers a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities.

Keswick itself offers lots of amenities, from shops to cafés, pubs to theatres, you will be spoilt for choice.

A lovely holiday home
Bridge House is a lovely comfortable holiday home in centre of Keswick with the added bonus of a garden. It's part of a small complex of holiday homes which share the garden. There is parking for two cars, a real bonus in Keswick! We had a lovely family holiday with enough space for 3 generations to spread out. The only drawback is lots of stairs, so maybe not so great for the less mobile although a ground floor bedroom is another bonus.

Hi Ellen, Thank you for your review of Bridge House. It's central location make it a great base for exploring Keswick and the garden is the perfect place to relax after a day of adventures. We hope you had a fantastic holiday! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

A very nice house for a 3- generation family in a fabulous location. Great facilities, well furnished and homely despite its size. Highly recommended.
Beautiful area and loads to do!
Just returned from a glorious week at Bridge House. Bridge House is ideal for a family holiday with a lovely garden yet in the very centre of Keswick. There is some noise from traffic on the main street but the house is well equipped and maintained and the traffic noise didn't distract us too much. We have already booked a return visit.
