The Eyrie is a unique property in Keswick, that has been carefully upgraded with natural elements sourced from the surrounding lands and local artisans. Being a four-story townhouse, it has breathtaking mountain views from 16 separate windows.
Whether you're staying for a week or short break, this large, luxury 19th century home is immediately impressive and will surpass all expectations. Upon entering, there is a welcoming space to shed coats, boots and walking gear, before making your way up the Victorian feature staircase. Arriving at the first floor, you can make yourself at home in the sitting room and take a seat in the stunning bay window overlooking the bustling high street, with views out to Walla Crag. Alternatively, settle in and relax on the comfortable sofa, in front of the wood-burning stove. There is a large Smart TV to relax and enjoy your favourite movie or series after a day of exploring.
When thoughts turn to dinner, the Eyrie has a stylish and well-equipped kitchen with personally sourced Italian Granite worktops that will make cooking a pleasure. Cookware essentials and high-quality appliances, including a double oven and dishwasher, are paired with indulgent extras such as a Dualit coffee machine. Adjacent to the kitchen is a contemporary dining room, complete with a bespoke Pippy oak, hand-crafted live edge table and comfy chair seating, along with mood lighting and carefully curated art works, setting the mood for an extra special dining experience.
As you explore the upper floors at the Eyrie, you'll find four high-end luxury bedrooms with en-suites, all featuring heated towel rails and underfloor heating. There are four comfortable, superking beds (two are zip-and-link for versatility, and can be made up as twin beds), fitted with luxury bespoke mattresses, and made up with luxury white bed linen and fluffy towels. The 'penthouse' top floor suite, as well as accommodating a bedroom and sitting area within, also encompasses a magnificent double shower bathroom and well-placed work-study zone, where the distracting views over the Keswick rooftops to Latrigg and Skiddaw beyond are a constant temptation to down tools.
Guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi and two car parking permits for the nearby long stay car park.
