Overview

Ellergill accommodates up to 10 adults, in two twin bedrooms, one double bedroom and two King bedrooms, over three floors. The modern kitchen is complimented by the rustic wooden dining table. Ellergill retains the turn-of-the-century blue and red hall floor tiles, and an electric fire offers cosy warmth in one of the living areas. A family bathroom is on the first floor, a downstairs toilet and four ensuites in the twin and King bedrooms. Guests can enjoy relaxing in the private enclosed outdoor area with seating, with lockable outdoor storage.

Description

Upon entering the property, you are welcomed into an entrance hall that has turn-of-the-century, blue and red floor tiles. There is a dedicated space under the stairs with hooks to hang coats and store muddy boots.

The property benefits from two reception rooms, perfect if you can't agree on what to watch on TV!

The spacious main living room has three plush sofas that look onto the large, wall-mounted Smart TV. The second reception room boasts a cosy electric fire to complement the central heating throughout, a left-hand chaise sofa to snuggle up on, and another large Smart TV. There is also a cabinet full of card games, board games, jigsaws, and books to entertain you.

The modern kitchen is well-equipped with essentials that include a large fridge-freezer, cutlery, utensils, cookware, and appliances such as a built-in microwave and oven with an induction hob and dish washer. There is also a stylish butler’s sink. There is access to the garden via a side door. Enjoy your home-cooked meals in the charming dining room that features a rustic wooden table, and a wooden bench and chairs. A useful WC and wash basin houses the washing machine and dryer.

The first floor includes a spacious double bedroom with a standing wardrobe and two bedside tables.

The main family bathroom features a waterfall shower head over bath.

The second floor provides a tastefully-decorated twin bedroom with a large, wooden standing wardrobe, there is also an en-suite with a WC, wash basin and shower.

There is also an attractive, king-sized bedroom that has a cabinet for your clothes and a full-length mirror. It also has an en-suite with WC, wash basin and shower. You can enjoy spectacular views of Whinlatter Forest and Grisedale Pike from this room!

Moving onto the third floor, where you'll find the final two bedrooms; one twin bedroom, complete with en-suite; the second is the final master bedroom, with king-size bed and a chair facing the balcony window, with views toward Whinlatter.

The private, enclosed outdoor area welcomes you onto the patio with outdoor seating. There is a grassy area to enjoy picnics on, leading to a raised patio with two deck chairs to enjoy the last of the sun’s rays.

There is also private bike storage in the outdoor area.

This property has a dedicated parking area behind the house that could provide space for three or four cars. This is a rare feature so close to the town centre!

Best stay
We had the best holiday here we have stayed in many houses around the Keswick area and this has to be the best very clean spacious and in a great location. Most of all the beds were like sleeping on clouds We will definitely be back

Lovely house with ample parking
This is a well appointed house close to all amenities. It has everything you need for a large group. The house is well equipped and well presented. Comfortable beds, clean linen and lovely gardens that sadly we didn't use as we had a little rain. Lots of space for people to sit together or have quiet time. Would definitely recommend

In better weather, the enclosed garden is great for unwinding on a summer evening, having a glass of wine, or al-fresco dining. There's even a grassy area for picnics. Lovely comfortable property in excellent location. Added bonus of parking spaces for our 3 cars. Hope it doesn't get too expensive as often happens with larger Keswick properties as we would love to book again

The house is in an excellent, central location. We were a group of 8 women meeting for a family get together and the house was perfect. It is clean, spacious, sunny and had everything we needed and more. The information received prior to our visit regarding our stay was great and having the app on my phone was really handy. We will definitely book again and will recommend to others.
We gathered the family together to celebrate a 69th birthday. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is excellent and the nearby views stunning.
