Overview

Number Nine The Townhouses offers accommodation for up to ten adults in four double or king bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Two bedrooms boast their own private shower facilities in contemporary style. A further bathroom is provided. One twin bedroom is located at ground floor level which may be presented as a super king if preferred. Number Nine offers a separate dining room for its guests with solid oak dining furniture and double doors opening out onto a small secluded outdoor seating area. The luxuriously styled living room, with deep cushion-piled sofa, wooden flooring and a real log burning stove, opens out through double doors onto a further small private outdoor seating area.

Description

Styled to a beautiful high standard, the Townhouses offer you the option to stay together with friends or family in your very own private Lakeland residence. The house is ideal for a group of eight people, however an additional bedroom is available to accommodate ten guests should this be required. Built at the turn of the century in the vernacular slate architecture, the Townhouses are warm and welcoming yet stylish, light and spacious. The houses are tastefully stocked to make your stay in the Lake District a pleasure. Many period features are retained and sympathetically restored, including original floor tiles, fireplaces and ceiling coving. The five stunning bedrooms set throughout this extensive property are each provided with a new luxury mattress, ethically crafted in the UK and dressed in high quality linens.


One twin bedroom is located on the ground floor, which can be presented as a super king if preferred (please be aware there is a £15 fee for this service). The open plan kitchen and lounge with log burning fire is also on the ground floor along with a separate dining room with solid oak furniture. Essentials such as cutlery, utensils, cookware and appliances are paired with indulgent little extras such as an espresso machine. A flat screen smart TV permits access to Netflix, Now TV, Amazon Prime (please bring your subscription details to log in to these services) as well as a DVD player and normal TV channels. There are two bedrooms on the first floor (one king size with ensuite bathroom and one double) plus the main family bathroom. Cole and Lewis bathroom toiletries are offered in the bath and shower rooms, together with fresh towels. There are a further two bedrooms on the 2nd floor, one king size bedroom with ensuite and one double.


High specification wifi is provided throughout for your convenience and connectivity to home. Each house has its own private outdoor area, with seating to enjoy a meal or a glass of wine at the end of the day. The restaurants, wine bars, supermarkets and other diversions of Keswick are only a moments walk away yet the quietude of the fells can be experienced in under an hours walk or a few minutes drive. Windows open onto views of Skiddaw and Latrigg to the north and to Catbells over the rooftops of Keswick to the south. Visitors to No.9 have the convenience of two complimentary parking permits to the adjacent long stay car park. Please note the Townhouses are not available for hen or stag events.

A Beautiful Lake District Town House.
Keswick is a beautiful Lake District town. The townhouse could not be more central. The house was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay. The only slight down side was 1 off the sofas in the living room was very uncomfortable. Its seating was very low down which made it diffecult to get up from especially if you have knee issues. All other rooms where adequately furnished and the beds where comfortable. Another added bonus was the 2 parking permits which came with the booking. The town House is a great place to stay. The staff at Keswick cottages are very helpful. My husband wanted to arrange some surprise flowers and balloons for my special Birthday. The staff arranged this discreetly ( phone calls to my husband not e-mails which I may have seen ) this was a very nice surprise when I arrived. All in all a great time was had and my birthday week was enjoyed with family and friends.

Perfectly situated property
Spacious house in an excellent location.Well stocked with cutlery,crockery and kitchen utensils. Generously sized bedrooms on all floors. Our only very minor gripe was that the en-suite bedroom on the first floor would benefit from a chest of drawers but the provision of lovely shower gels and soap dispensers more than made up for it. Finally, the parking permits worked a treat, no issues at all.

Great location great communication perfect house
Had the best weekend and are looking to book it next year location and facilities
We were a large group of friends getting together to catch up for a long weekend so the space was ideal. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable on the whole. The welcome touches like ice in the freezer and tea bags etc were a nice extra. I'm not sure if November is classed as out of season, but the price seemed very reasonable. If we were visiting Keswick again I'd definitely re-book.
