A 5 star property expertly managed by a 5 star company
Our 6th stay at this warm , comfortable home from home . If we could award 6 stars we would . Kept in pristine condition by the super star housekeeper . Owned by kind , generous people who seem to really care about the wellbeing of their guests. Sarah and the team at Keswick Cottages manage the property in an efficient and friendly way. We actually called in at their office to say hello and , as always , were made very welcome. We have already booked our next stay . Property positives Â…. Quiet location , off road parking, within walking distance of Â….. Keswick town centre , shops , parks , bus stops and good footpaths . No negatives whatsoever.

Hi Caryl, What an absolute joy your review was to read — thank you so much! It means the world to us that this was your 6th stay and that the cottage still feels like a true home?from?home for you. If we could give you five stars as a guest, we absolutely would! Our housekeepers will be over the moon to hear your lovely words — they really are superstars, and take so much pride in keeping everything just right. And the owners will be genuinely touched too; they put such care into the cottage and into making sure guests feel welcome, so your kindness will mean a lot. It was such a treat having you pop into the office to say hello — you brightened our day! We’re always happy to see you, and it’s lovely to know you always feel so warmly welcomed. We’re thrilled you’ve already booked your next stay — that truly is the best compliment we could receive. And thank you for sharing the things you love about the cottage and the location; it’s wonderful to hear the peaceful setting, the parking, and the easy walk into Keswick all continue to work so well for you. “No negatives whatsoever” really made us smile — thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and generous review. We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Winter Sun in Keswick
Warm and welcoming and well equipped. Convenient location for shopping and Fitz Park. Comfortable sitting room with reclining chairs, great after a long day on the fells. Kitchen and dining area perfect. Lots of hot water for the showers.

Hi, Jonathan! Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. It’s wonderful to hear that you found Crosthwaite Gardens warm, welcoming, and so well equipped. The location is certainly one of its strengths — being in a quiet cul?de?sac yet just an easy, level stroll into Keswick town centre and Fitz Park makes it a great base for exploring. We’re delighted the reclining chairs helped you unwind after days on the fells, and that the open?plan kitchen and dining area worked perfectly for your stay. Guests often comment on how spacious and comfortable the living areas are, and it’s great to know you enjoyed them too. And yes — plenty of hot water is always a must after Lakeland adventures! Your positive comments mean a lot to us, and feedback like this helps us as an independent, family business to stand out against multi-national corporations, so we'd love to know what we could do to turn those 4/5s to some 5/5s! You can call us anytime on 017687 80088. We hope to welcome you back to Crosthwaite Gardens again soon. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Our second stay at this lovely property. Clean, comfortable and in a quiet location with off street parking ( a real plus in this area ). We have already booked to return. Keswick Cottages is a local firm. They are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property and this company.
We’ve had a lovely stay here. Comfy beds, great showers and toasty warm, especially since the Lakes lived up to it’s name by raining every day. The kitchen was also well equipped to eat in. Enjoyed playing the games they had there, watching a film on Netflix on the large TV or listen to music from the Google Dot or just reading. All in all an enjoyable stay but ordering sun next time!
This was the second time we have stayed at Crosthwaite Gardens and every bit as enjoyable as the first. The beds are super comfortable and everything you need for a happy and successful self catering holiday is available. There is even a full sized ping pong table in the garage complete with good table tennis bats and ball, gave us a lot of fun on a couple of evenings. Thanks go to the owners who have thought of everything and we will hopefully return again when we next visit the Lakes.
