Keswick itself offers lots of amenities, from shops to cafés, pubs to theatres, you will be spoilt for choice.

Lovely cottage in a great area
We were very pleased with Birchgate. A lovely cottage, tastefully furnished. Bed was very comfortable, and there was everything we needed in the kitchen. Shower was pretty powerful. Nice quiet area easily within walking distance of Keswick but tucked away. We felt very at home there. Couple small points - it is a very tight turn into the row of cottages and even tighter to get on the drive so worth noting if you have a larger vehicle. Could do with some more instructions especially for bin day as we had no idea you had to take bins to end of the road so missed the collection as we were out all day. Think the fridge may be in its way out as even on the coldest setting it wasn't particularly cold. All in all a very good place to stay and I think we would go back.
Well positioned, good for small damilies
House is well situated, very near the park and a short walk to town. Access & parking is tight for cars but manageable. Lots of great walks nearby. Good shower, house was clean & good welcome pack.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Birchgate, we hope you enjoyed your stay at the property! Birchgate is in a fantastic location, tucked away in a quieter area of the town but still within walking distance of all Keswick's attractions and amenities. We hope to welcome you back in the future! Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Enjoyed the stay here, lovely place and will definitely be back. Has its own parking spot which is great because parking wasn’t the best in the surrounding areas.
What a perfect little place to stay. Just right size with lovely lounge with an open fire and close to Keswick centre. We enjoyed walks directly from the cottage so only drove once in the week. Hosts responsive and friendly and there was a little Xmas tree and few other decorations to make it feel homely and Christmassy. We loved staying there and would love to return.
This is the second year in a row myself my partner and my 2 little dogs have stayed here we wouldn’t chose anywhere else to stay for our Pre Christmas Mini Break very clean, very modern it doesn’t feel like a holiday rental it feels more like your own home. Very warm and cozy beautiful bathroom, great interiors throughout, beautiful modern kitchen, absolutely spotless on arrival absolutely beautiful. Perfect location as it’s close to the main town but at the same time the street the house is in is very quiet and tranquil. It’s a few minutes walk to Fitz Park which my two little dogs loved. We came this year in time for the Keswick Christmas Light Switch On which made the whole experience extra magical you could say it felt like the perfect traditional Christmas like my childhood. We’ll certainly be booking again for this year for our yearly Pre Christmas Mini Break. Highly recommend 100 %
