Brief time in Keswick
Lovely cottage a short walk from the main attractions of Keswick. We were staying for work just for 2 nights. The cottage was cosy, really well presented and very comfortable. We brought our dogs - this was a cottage that said it was dog friendly and actually was! Dog bowls available for borrowing and little doggie welcome packs! We would definitely return.

Hi, Jo! Thank you so much for this lovely review — it really brightened our day. We’re delighted Birchgate worked so well for your two?night work stay. It’s such a handy spot for strolling into Keswick, and we’re really glad you found the cottage cosy, comfortable and beautifully presented. And we’re extra happy to hear your dogs felt properly welcome. When we say a cottage is dog?friendly, we really do mean it, so it’s great to know the dog bowls and little welcome packs were appreciated. Four?legged guests deserve a warm Keswick welcome too! We’d be absolutely delighted to have you all back again — whether for work or a proper holiday next time. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Our 12th visit
We have been coming to Birchgate since 2015. Love the cottage and the location. Already booked for next year. Can't wait

Hi, Joanna! Wow, we're so glad that you're just as in love with Birchgate as we are! Twelve visits is seriously impressive; here's to thirteen! There's lots to fall in love with at Birchgate, but a few of our favourite things are the open fire, enclosed garden, and private parking. The biggest benefit is its location, as you said. No through traffic passes by this row of houses, making it perfect for a peaceful, relaxing break in the Lakes. We can't wait to welcome you again next year! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages.

Lovely place to stay, a nice cottage within easy walk of Keswick town centre and Derwent Water.
Enjoyed the stay here, lovely place and will definitely be back. Has its own parking spot which is great because parking wasn’t the best in the surrounding areas.
What a perfect little place to stay. Just right size with lovely lounge with an open fire and close to Keswick centre. We enjoyed walks directly from the cottage so only drove once in the week. Hosts responsive and friendly and there was a little Xmas tree and few other decorations to make it feel homely and Christmassy. We loved staying there and would love to return.
