If you can manage all the stairs, this is a lovely, well appointed, property centrally located in Keswick. We were two couples and a dog but it can easily accommodate more. Very nice short break. Thank you.Jan & Bill Rippon from Basildon, Essex 17th June 2016
I can endorse many of the positive comments made by other reviewers; the central location, the superb views , the well-appointed and spotlessly clean rooms. Beds were comfortable, excellent bathrooms with good, thick towels. The drying room and practical coir carpet in the entrance were appreciated on our one wet day. We were blessed with gloriously hot weather which made us wish for a blind over the roof window in the lounge. Perhaps that doesn't happen enough to justify one! The elevated position means views all day but the best is looking west at sunset. Accessibility would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues as the access road is rough and was usually blocked by builders' vans, making it tricky even for pedestrian access.Williamson and friends from York, Kent and Newcastle 1st June 2016
Crandy Nook was the perfect base for our family get-together, with lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and stunning views from the living room/kitchen for those of us reluctant to brave the rain. The big entrance hall and drying room were much appreciated, and the whole apartment was well-equipped and spotless. A great weekend, despite the weather!Jane Slater from Beverley, East Yorkshire 25th March 2016
We had a great time in our selected property. It was spotlessly clean, and all our dealings with staff have been helpful and efficient. The property had amazing views of Skiddaw, very well equipped, and spacious, so much so that we were able to entertain 20 + people one evening ! So convenient for the town centre, and also for the Keswick Convention site that we were attending. Would definitely use Keswick Cottages again.Judith Anderson from Glasgow 26th July 2014
I stayed here with my partner and another couple for 3 nights as we were taking part in a charity challenge. We arrived on Friday, followed the directions which were great. There is no parking outside the cottage but you get two passes for the local car park which is less than 5 minutes away. We were able to unload the car etc. The cottage has 3 floors. A double room, single room and bathroom on the first two floors. We only used the two doubles but they were all perfectly clean with fresh linen and towels etc. the bathrooms were spotless. The top floor consists of a well equipped kitchen and a living room. Once again everything was clean and well kept. There is a flat screen tv, blu ray etc. there is wifi but we struggled connecting and could get connection on one sofa but this wasn't a major issue really. We easily used the kitchen to make meals which was nice and simple. They supply you with dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels etc. downstairs is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer which came in very handy after our challenge. The location was perfect with easy access to the town center and local park etc. The cottage is pet friendly with the exception of pets going in the bedrooms which wasn't a problem at all. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and would return. It was great value for money especially considering the location and how modern everything was.Hill from Northampton 25th April 2014
Crandynook was a fantasitic property, far better than the pictures and descripion showed it to be.We stayed there with three teenage kids aged 19,17 and 15 and for that compiment it was perfect giving a large amount of space and alot of privacy and room to study for all, both in terms of location and interior.Mr & Mrs Parkes from Home 7th April 2014

Despite the snow!! We have had a lovely long weekend- long walks in knee deep snow and blizzarding winds, have certainly earned our beers and suppers!!! Super place to stay in the heart of the town - great being able to forget about the car. Apartment is comfortable, spacious and has everything we need. Thanks. I'm sure we will be back for more.Hornbys and Hargreaves from Northumberland/Bolton 23rd March 2013
