Excellent
The house was very comfortable and clean and provided excellent accommodation for our all male walking group. Good location for pubs (very important) and restaurants. Parking for 2 cars was very useful, given its town centre location, although we ended up with 3 cars, with a small additional charge, which was fine.

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear the house provided such comfortable and clean accommodation for your walking group — it sounds like it was a great base for your trip. It’s great to know the location worked well for you too, with plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants (always important!), and that the parking was useful despite being right in the town centre. We’re glad the additional arrangement for a third car worked out smoothly as well. We’re really pleased you had an enjoyable stay and would be very happy to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Excellent property, ideal location, shame internet patchy
Excellent property for our stay minor issue with ensuite lighting that team resolved within half hour Shame internet reception is not greater within the property we had 2 elderly guess as part of our party which made a downstairs bed room and ensuite idea - but patio area nd slop/steps are quiet a dangerous area for them we always had to have someone keeping an eye them cleanliness of house is a 5 but cleanliness of outside tables and chairs let down the quality of the rest of the area need bigger airer for property size or more pegs

Hi, Helen! Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback following your stay at Bridge House. We’re really pleased to hear you found the property excellent overall and that our team was able to resolve the ensuite lighting issue so quickly for you — we always aim to respond promptly when needed. Thank you also for your helpful and constructive comments. We’ve passed all of your feedback on to the property owners, including your observations about the internet reception, the patio area and access for less mobile guests, and the outdoor furniture cleanliness. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding a larger airer and additional pegs — these are exactly the kind of practical details that help us improve the guest experience. It’s lovely to hear the interior cleanliness met a high standard, and we’re grateful you highlighted this alongside areas for improvement. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback, and we do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

I doubt you will find a better property in central Keswick
Been staying at Bridge House with a group of friends for many years as part of our annual excursion. Why do we go back to the same place you might ask? Because we have confidence Bridge House always delivers. A great location with a 2-minute walk into Keswick which has so much to offer, and by far the best town in the Lake District. Generous and allocated parking spaces for each property. 5 star spacious excellent accommodation and with a regular refurbishment programme. Finally great customer service from the staff at Keswick Cottages.

Hi, Mike! Thank you so much for this fantastic review — it genuinely means a lot to us. Hearing that you and your friends have chosen Bridge House for so many years as part of your annual trip is the kind of feedback that makes our whole team smile. There’s no bigger compliment than guests returning time and time again. You summed up exactly what makes Bridge House special: that brilliant two?minute stroll into Keswick, generous parking, and the space and quality needed for a proper group getaway. We’re really glad the regular refurbishments shine through too — we put a lot of care into keeping everything fresh, comfortable and up to scratch. And your kind words about our team truly made our day. We take great pride in giving guests the sort of service that feels warm, reliable and personal, so thank you for noticing. We’re absolutely delighted Bridge House continues to deliver for your group each year — and we’ll be just as delighted to welcome you all back for the next one. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

A very nice house for a 3- generation family in a fabulous location. Great facilities, well furnished and homely despite its size. Highly recommended.
Beautiful area and loads to do!
Just returned from a glorious week at Bridge House. Bridge House is ideal for a family holiday with a lovely garden yet in the very centre of Keswick. There is some noise from traffic on the main street but the house is well equipped and maintained and the traffic noise didn't distract us too much. We have already booked a return visit.
