Fully refurbished and styled to a beautiful high standard, the Townhouses offer you the option to stay together with friends or family in your very own private Lakeland residence. Built at the turn of the century in the vernacular slate architecture, the Townhouses are warm and welcoming yet stylish, light and spacious. The houses are tastefully stocked to make your stay in the Lake District a pleasure. Many period features are retained and sympathetically restored, including original floor tiles, fireplaces and ceiling coving. The four elegant bedrooms are spread out over three floors for space, comfort and privacy. On the ground floor there is a spacious bedroom with king size bed, a well stocked kitchen teamed with rustic bench and vintage metal seating, and also a shower room to the back of the house. Essentials such as new cutlery, utensils, cookware and appliances are paired with indulgent little extras such as an espresso machine. The stylish living area is on the first floor with a real log burning stove to complement the new central heating enjoyed throughout. A flat screen smart TV permits access to Netflix, Now TV, Amazon Prime (please bring your subscription details to log in to these services) as well as a DVD player and normal TV channels. Also on the first floor is the main family bathroom, and a double bedroom. Cole and Lewis bathroom toiletries are offered in the bath and shower rooms, together with fresh towels. The twin bedroom is on the 2nd floor and can be made up as super-king on request (please be aware there is a £15 charge for this service), along with another double bedroom. High specification wifi is provided throughout for your convenience and connectivity to home. Each house has its own private outdoor area, with seating to enjoy a meal or a glass of wine at the end of the day. The restaurants, wine bars, supermarkets and other diversions of Keswick are only a moment’s walk away yet the quietude of the fells can be experienced in under an hour’s walk or a few minutes drive. Windows open onto views of Skiddaw and Latrigg to the north and to Catbells over the rooftops of Keswick to the south. Visitors to No.7 have the conveniance of two complimentary parking permits to the adjacent long stay car park. Please note the Townhouses are not available for hen or stag events.

Really Lovely House, Very Well Furnished & Situated. Good Interior Design. Only Thought A Radio Would Be Nice In The Kitchen. Can't Wait To Come Again. Thank-You!!Deb Pritchard from Derbyshire 23rd March 2019
The house is very very close to the centre of Keswick, so perfect for a 5 minute walk to the shops or local bars/ restaurants. It is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and had every thing we needed. We took our 2 collies and they loved it 2! Our only issue was we only stayed 3 nights - we would have loved to have stayed longer.Maxine from Cheshire 1st February 2019
What a terrific property! We stayed at 7 The Townhouses with our three children and dog for a long weekend at half-term. The house could not have been in a better location, was really comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a great break. Many thanksJames and Emma from Glasgow 8th February 2019
Clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, well stocked. Situated centrally within bustling Keswick. From the top, second floor bedrooms, a great view of the mountains.Charlton from Richmond 22nd January 2018
We have stayed in and around Keswick many times, we wanted a family holiday which would include my Mum and her dog and be interesting for the younger people in our group. The property was lovely, well positioned with less than a 5 minute walk into the centre of Keswick and beautifully and thoughtfully presented. A well stocked kitchen, immaculately clean and every eventuality thought of, even down to the umbrella by the front door. Will definitely use againMichael from North Lincolnshire 7th October 2017
Very comfortable and right in the centre - no hesitation recommending to others - the car park voucher worked well as we never had trouble finding a space in carpark when we wanted oneDavid from Cheshire 5th August 2017
Very nice town house in the heart of Keswick. Well equipped, decorated and maintained. Very comfortable beds. One of the bedrooms is downstairs and there is also a shower on that level so good if you have an elderly person in the party. The only downside is that you cannot park to unload directly outside the house. Otherwise we had a great stay and will probably book again.Fry from Oxford 14th July 2017
The property was beautifully prepared for us , clean and welcoming and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. It was in a great position very close to the shops and eating places in Keswick. I thought the lack parking might be an issue - but the car park is just across the road and we hardly used the car the first few days of our holiday anyway! Keswick is beautiful and the whole process of booking with Keswick Cottages was made very easily. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. My only complaint is that the sink in the kitchen was too small and so water splashes easily around.Stephanie Farmer from Dorset 13th May 2017
I stayed here with my children for a week of hillwalking. The house is located very centrally within walking distance of shops and restaurants. You cannot park at the house but it comes with a permit valid at Otley Road car park about 50 metres away. The house is very recently refurbished to a high standard and with good wifi. With its maximum eight people it would be a tight fit in the kitchen and lounge; six would be fine. There are four double bedrooms; we left the downstairs bedroom empty. We drove to our walks, having taken the train to Penrith and rented a car there, but it would be possible (and perhaps more pleasant, bearing in mind the narrow roads and small car parks) to use the bus network. Keswick is a great town - we really enjoyed our holiday and would definitely do it again.Murphy from Luxembourg 13th August 2016
This was our 1st stay in Keswick and what a find. There were 7 of us sharing the house and it felt really spacious and everyone agreed how comfortable the beds were. Netflix was great on the few rainy days we had. The house is so close to Keswick Main Street and the owners have negotiated some discounts with the local restaurants which we used. All ready looking for when we can book up again.Bronya from 7 The Townhouses 14th February 2016
