wonderful week stay
Thank you for this nice and confortable little house in a very quiet road. We enjoyed our stay and found everything within easy walking distance, Keswick shopping area, cinema and bus stops. Thank you also for the many tips to get around and go for walks. It was nice to have the heating on since the weather was quite wet. The beds are really good even if the bunk beds are a bit tight for 2 adults and the bedroom small. We will definitely come back

Thank you, Pascale, for your lovely review of Skiddaw Heights. We're so pleased to hear that you had such an enjoyable stay and found everything within easy walking distance. It's great to know that our local recommendations helped you make the most of your time in Keswick, even with the less-than-summery weather! Thank you as well for your helpful comments regarding the bunk beds. The fact that you're already planning to come back is the highest compliment we could receive. When you do return, one of our favourite gentle walks is the old railway path to Threlkeld, and we'd definitely recommend treating yourselves to coffee and cake at Lingholm Kitchen afterwards. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Lakes soon. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages.

Excellent location, very clean and very well equipped.
Very well equipped property with off street parking and plenty of off street parking, located within 10 minutes walk of the town centre. Everything was very clean and well maintained and the hot tub was very welcome, particularly during a hot period of weather. Beds were very comfortable. Only minor quibble was that there did not appear to be a bin into which to deposit our general refuse, so we had to bag it up and put it into the blue bin.

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you found the property so well equipped, clean, and well maintained, and that the off?street parking and easy walk into the town centre worked well for you. It’s great to know the hot tub was such a welcome feature too — especially during the recent warm weather — and that the beds helped make your stay extra comfortable. Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the bins. We’re sorry for any confusion. The blue bin is intended for general waste at this property, but we appreciate that this may not have been as clear as it could have been. We’ll review the information provided to help avoid any uncertainty for future guests. We’re really pleased you had such an enjoyable stay overall and would be very happy to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
