Description

As you enter the cottage you'll find yourself in the porch area, where there is space for coats, boots and walking gear.

To the front of the cottage is the lounge, which is full of character and comes with two seater leather sofa, chair, TV, and a lovely warming stove perfect for curling up on winter evenings. There is a selection of books and DVDs on the shelves for guests to enjoy.

The dining room separates the lounge from the kitchen, which is supplied with cooker, hob, microwave and dishwasher.

Under the stairs, you'll find the washing machine, and there is a tumble dryer in the outhouse.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-size bed and catches the morning sun, while the rear bedroom has a comfortable single bed. Both bedrooms will be made up with luxury, crisp white bed linen and towels for your arrival.

The bathroom is also upstairs, with a bath hand-held shower head over, WC, and basin. The quaint bathroom features a sloping, beamed ceiling.

The rear garden catches the afternoon sun and is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine on warm, lazy summer evenings.

Complimentary Wifi is included for guest convenience.

There is unrestricted on-street parking in front of the cottage.

Cosy cottage in a great location
Very cosy (with the log burner), a great location with many local walks and well equiped. Thanks for the dog welcome pack.

Hi, Adrian! Thank you so much for your kind review of Spa Cottage. You are very, very welcome for the pup pack! We're big dog-lovers here. Spa Cottage is a perfect retreat for your Lakes break, with the historic Village Shop, a must-visit, conveniently situated across the road, selling everything from household essentials, to craft beers, take-away snacks/drinks, locally baked bread and cakes, and gifts to take home for family. We'd love to welcome you back soon! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Superb location in idyllic village
Wonderful location with cozy pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. Hikes walks and bike trails a stones throw away. The cottage was beautiful and provided everything you could need to have a night in after a day of adventure.

Hi, Katie! We're so thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at Spa Cottage. Sounds like you had an amazing trip and made the most of everything the Lake District has to offer. Spa Cottage definitely has some of our favourite pubs and restaurants nearby-- next time make sure to visit the historic village shop! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

2 sunny weeks
Lovely little cottage in Braithwaite. I know village well & was up visiting parents. Very tastefully decorated. Pretty little garden with a pull out washing line. Nice little pack left for my dog including a toy. I will come again. Parking is an issue especially as now an air bnb opposite. Says in blurb parking in front of property but it was never free. Plus sometimes tricky getting through gate as cars are parked so close. I luckily had parking at my parents who live up the road but would have annoyed me if this wasn't the case. There is other parking in village so not sure why people think they can park in front of someone's else's home? Apart from parking it had everything you need. Very small but well thought out.

Hi Alison, Thank you for your review of Spa Cottage. Braithwaite is a lovely little village with a great choice of places to eat and even a village shop. Spa Cottage is located right in the heart of the village so close to all of the amenities with lots of walks right from your doorstep including Barrow and Grisedale Pike. There is parking outside the property but unfortunately it is unrestricted on-street parking so quite easy for someone to pinch the space outside the front. I hope this did not affect your stay too much and you still had a fantastic holiday. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
