Lovely little cottage in Braithwaite. I know village well & was up visiting parents. Very tastefully decorated. Pretty little garden with a pull out washing line. Nice little pack left for my dog including a toy. I will come again. Parking is an issue especially as now an air bnb opposite. Says in blurb parking in front of property but it was never free. Plus sometimes tricky getting through gate as cars are parked so close. I luckily had parking at my parents who live up the road but would have annoyed me if this wasn't the case. There is other parking in village so not sure why people think they can park in front of someone's else's home? Apart from parking it had everything you need. Very small but well thought out.

Hi Alison, Thank you for your review of Spa Cottage. Braithwaite is a lovely little village with a great choice of places to eat and even a village shop. Spa Cottage is located right in the heart of the village so close to all of the amenities with lots of walks right from your doorstep including Barrow and Grisedale Pike. There is parking outside the property but unfortunately it is unrestricted on-street parking so quite easy for someone to pinch the space outside the front. I hope this did not affect your stay too much and you still had a fantastic holiday. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Spa Cottage Review
Our second visit to Spa Cottage and it did not disappoint. Its a small, clean cottage that is ideally located to explore the Lake District. The cottage was clean and tidy upon our arrival and there was a small welcome pack which was much appreciated. Car parking was limited but we managed to get parked in front or close to our property every day. We would recommend this property and look forward to returning again some time in the future.
