Not cheap but a marvellous place!
Great location - close to Keswick for restaurants and shops and also close to walks - we didn't need the car at all. Well designed and elegant. Suited us well - family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. 2 Bathrooms which was brilliant. All done well and in good condition. We had a great weekend>

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you had such a great weekend and made the most of both the location and the property itself. It’s wonderful to know you were able to leave the car behind and enjoy the easy access to Keswick’s shops, restaurants, and walks straight from the doorstep. We’re also pleased the layout worked so well for your family group, with the two bathrooms proving especially useful. Thank you for your comments about the design and condition of the property too. It’s lovely to hear you found it elegant, well thought out, and perfectly suited to your group of six. We also loved the title of your review! While we appreciate that quality accommodation is an investment, we're delighted to hear you felt the property was worth every penny and helped provide such an enjoyable stay for the whole family. We’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

A unique, special and convenient space.
The property has tons of character and space. It is also very functional with everything you need. The walk into Keswick is short and flat and there are 2 parking bays which is great when parking in town is so expensive now. They are reopening the restaurant underneath so that'll be different next time. Pros and cons. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend. A space like no other and great to keep everyone together.

Hi there! Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the character and space the property offers. It’s great to know that, alongside its unique charm, you found it practical and well equipped with everything you needed for your stay. We’re pleased the easy, level walk into Keswick worked well for you, and we couldn't agree more that having two dedicated parking spaces is a real bonus, especially with parking becoming increasingly limited and expensive in town. Thank you as well for mentioning the restaurant below. As you say, that will certainly make for a slightly different experience next time, and we appreciate your balanced view of the potential pros and cons. "A space like no other" is such a lovely description, and we’re thrilled to hear it provided a great place for everyone to spend time together. Thank you again for your kind recommendation. We’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Mountain festival
Stay with family for the Keswick mountain festival, ideal location within easy walk of the town and other attractions. Plenty of car parking however, cafe below recently changed hands so expect to be much busier and with subsequent noise increase when reopens in Sept. Could do with wifi extender to reach back bedrooms as poor also tv remotes need batteries none that worked throughout.

Hi there! Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re really pleased to hear the property worked so well for your family during the Keswick Mountain Festival and that the location was ideal, with everything within easy walking distance. It’s great to know you also found the parking convenient, which is always a real benefit in such a central spot. Thank you for your helpful comments regarding the WiFi and TV remotes. We’re sorry to hear the signal didn’t reach the back bedrooms as well as expected and that the remotes required new batteries — both points have been noted and will be looked into, as these are straightforward improvements that can make a real difference to guest comfort. We also appreciate you mentioning the café below. As it is independently managed, we don’t have control over its operation, but it’s useful context for future guests to be aware that there may be increased activity when it reopens. Thank you again for your balanced and constructive feedback. We’re pleased you had an enjoyable stay overall and would be very happy to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
