Great for larger groups
We were a group of 6, could easily fit 8. Place is perfect, everything you need, large comunal area in living room and in kitchen. Bedrooms are spotless and excellent 3 bathrooms. Only thing that could be improved was the signal of the WiFi which wasn't great anywhere in the house but don't let that put you off as you'll be out exploring in any case.

Hi, Paul! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a fantastic review. It’s wonderful to hear that Bridge House worked so well for your group of six, and that you felt there was more than enough space for eight. The house is designed with social stays in mind, so your comments about the generous living room, the large, well?equipped kitchen, and the ease of spending time together really capture what makes this property special. The owners have put a lot of care into creating a welcoming, high?quality space—from the spotless bedrooms to the three modern bathrooms—so it’s lovely to hear that everything met your expectations. Bridge House is one of our most popular larger properties, especially with its private parking, peaceful setting just moments from the centre of Keswick, and the added bonus of access to the shared garden and river views. Thank you as well for mentioning the WiFi. Rural and stone?built properties can sometimes make signal strength a challenge, but feedback like yours helps us continue working with owners to improve connectivity wherever possible. And as you say, with the fells, lakes, and town centre right on the doorstep, most guests spend their days out exploring anyway. As an independent, family?run agency, we truly appreciate your kind words and the care you’ve taken to share your experience. We’d be delighted to welcome you and your group back to Bridge House—or any of our cottages—whenever you’re planning your next trip to the Lakes. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Return to Bridge House
A return visit for our small family of seven. An excellent house with very good amenities, very cosy and comfortable, who needs good weather! Central Keswick is very close by as are the two local supermarkets.

Hi, Brian, We're really pleased to hear that you've enjoyed another family holiday. Bridge House is in such a handy location for everything you might like to do in Keswick, and beyond, with access to bus and trains nearby. Who needs good weather when you can see the fells from the windows, and we have underfloor heating in the property? An evening with a Tassimo coffee, complimentary WiFi and the Smart TV sounds pretty good to us! Can't wait to see you all again next time! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages.

Another lovely stay in this great house
We've stayed in Bridge House 4 or 5 times now - it's a great house in the perfect location for us, with all the amenities we need. Having the huge garden is a brilliant bonus, perfect for the grandkids to play safely, parking is ideal, and the house itself is very spacious and comfortable. As always, it was immaculately clean (brilliant job by the cleaning staff) and had everything we needed. Keswick Cottages staff very helpful as always - thoroughly recommended :)

Hi Gaynor, Thank you for your review. We're thrilled to hear that you keep returning to Bridge House. Having such a big garden and parking in the centre of Keswick is certainly a bonus. Bridge House is close to the shops and restaurants and just around the corner from the bus stop. We hope you had a great stay and that we can welcome you back again soon. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

A very nice house for a 3- generation family in a fabulous location. Great facilities, well furnished and homely despite its size. Highly recommended.
Beautiful area and loads to do!
Just returned from a glorious week at Bridge House. Bridge House is ideal for a family holiday with a lovely garden yet in the very centre of Keswick. There is some noise from traffic on the main street but the house is well equipped and maintained and the traffic noise didn't distract us too much. We have already booked a return visit.
