A great little cottage in an ideal spot for exploring Kendal and surrounding area. Two good size bedrooms and great bathroom. Lovely comfortable living room . Kitchen with table and four chairs, all utensils, crockery etc you could wish for . The back of the property has a small seating area , it isnt particularly private but also has a small garden and two parking spaces. Easy to walk to Kendal, some lovely local walks . A great friend for a holiday in Kendal
Nice little walk into Keswick good bars and restaurants taxis are available and reasonably priced. Some great walks close by and the views are stunning.
The Cottage has all the facilities you need for a two week stay, dishwasher, washer dryer, and they worked well. The rooms are substantial and the bathroom large and well thought out.The heating, important at times in the Lake District ,was very efficient.I liked the cooking facilities ,easy to use.Perhaps a consideration would be the access to the property which is up a set of stairs if you struggle with mobility. Parking is easy, the pub is close by,try the Lingholm Estate for a drink or snack, the walk into Keswick is straight forward. I have every intention of returning in the future.
