Langrigg Stay
This is our second stay at Langrigg. We enjoyed it very much. It is a very quiet location. The wildlife is there to see. We loved seeing the hares running around. One little one came up to our patio door. The birdsong is magnificent. The house is very comfortable and bright and in the main it is clean. It does need a bit more attention to detail in the bathrooms. Particularly behind the toilet in the small en-suite bathroom.

Hi, Catherine! Thank you for your lovely review and for choosing to return to Langrigg — we’re so pleased you enjoyed your second stay just as much. It’s wonderful to hear how much you appreciated the peace and quiet, along with the local wildlife. Seeing hares so close to the cottage is always such a special experience, and the birdsong really does make it feel like a true escape. We’re delighted you found the house comfortable, bright, and generally clean. Thank you also for your helpful feedback regarding the bathrooms, particularly the en?suite. Your comments have been noted and passed on to our housekeeping team so we can ensure even greater attention to detail moving forward. We really appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back to Langrigg again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hi, Emma! Thank you so much for such a lovely review — it really brightened our day. We’re delighted to hear how much you loved Langrigg. Those views truly are something special, and it’s wonderful to know you found the cottage so comfortable and enjoyed all that generous parking and spacious layout. We’re especially glad the Love Seat room was a hit — it’s one of those little features that feels extra cosy, and we love it when guests pick up on it too. With Keswick just a short drive away, it’s great to hear you made the most of the town as well as the peace and quiet of the bungalow. And your kind words about the Lake District really echo how we feel about it every day. Our party comprised 4 adults and a small dog. The cottage has mountain views from every window. It is spacious and clean. Our only neighbours were sheep! It is an easy walk into Keswick, on a good footpath. We loved our stay and hope to come again.
The view from Langrigg Cottage is stunning, a week in February saw an amazing array of weather and light conditions making the fells look so beautiful. The cottage was very comfortable plus lovely and warm with under floor heating throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed, including decent wine glasses and plenty of room for food storage! The lack of light pollution made for great dark skies at night unfortunately we didn’t get see the aurora but must be great spot for it. We definitely love to stay again and can highly recommend.
A beautiul place to spend Christmas together with stunning views and a very comfortable cottage. Thank you to Keswick Cottages for looking after us so well and for the Christmas gifts. A Christmas to remember!
