The front door opens to the bright, airy and spacious open plan living area. This incredible space is quite unique with its high vaulted ceiling with impressive wooden beams. Comfortable sofas and armchairs are arranged around the feature fireplace with gas stove. A couple of step lead to the elevated, bespoke, fitted kitchen, that overlooks the living area with range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. To the side the large family dining table is set into the bay window, with views over the lower roof to the northern fells.

Choose from one of three welcoming bedrooms all with their own Smart TV. To the front is the spacious dual aspect master bedroom with superking bed and views to Skiddaw. A further double bedroom with king bed and a twin bedroom are situated further to the rear of the property. The bedrooms are complemented by a feature bathroom with an elegant rolltop bath where you can relax after a day on the fells and enjoy the view to the hills beyond, a large walk in shower cubicle, basing and WC. Off the landing is a smart shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC.

This stunning apartment has high vaulted ceilings, beautiful picture windows, an immense amount of character and offers very high quality accommodation just a few minutes walk from Keswick’s bustling market square, with it’s wonderful selection of local shops, bars, restaurants and cafes.

Birthday stay in Keswick
Having stayed here last summer we booked again for a long weekend to celebrate a family birthday. Extremely spacious accommodation which is ideal for our 2 year grandson :) It is in a fantastic location and has plenty of free parking which is unusual for the center of Keswick. We look forward as a family to stay here again in the future.

Thank you so much for your review! We love that you're returning guests and that you chose to spend your family birthday at Greta Howe. We are so happy that you found it spacious and that your two year old grandson could explore safely. We agree the location is perfect for exploring Keswick and the ample on-site parking spaces are a great bonus. We can't wait to welcome you again, hopefully very soon! Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Really lovely place
The flat was really stunning - very different, and everything was excellent quality. Great location if you want to be in the centre but with views - quite a rare thing especially given the cost. There is a lot of history as it was 'Keswick School of Industrial Art" and if you google that you get an excellent photo of what the room looked like 100 years ago.

Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are so happy you found it to a high standard and beautiful. We agree that the views are lovely and Greta Howe is situated perfectly to explore Keswick. It was formerly the Keswick School Of Industrial Art that was opened in 1894 by Canon Rawnsley, one of the founders of the National Trust and which led the way in the Arts and Crafts movement. Fascinating history! We hope you had an amazing time and we hope to welcome you back again. Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Great Property
We had a lovely stay in this holiday property. It was very spacious, had great facilities, and having the town within a few minutes walking distance was perfect. It would have been helpful to have some instructions on how to use the gas fire, as that wasn't included on the tablet. Also, when we arrived, I think the heating had only just been turned on as it was quite chilly and took a while to heat up as the room is very large. I would definitely book again if we were in this area.

Thank you so much for you review! We are so glad you had a lovely stay and it was spacious with great facilities and in a great location. We are sorry to hear that the instructions weren't provided on the tablet, we will have this rectified for the next guests and will make sure the heating is turned on earlier too. We hope to welcome you back when you next visit Keswick. Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages
