Overview

Greta Howe is a superb first floor apartment in what was formerly the Keswick School Of Industrial Art that was opened in 1894 by Canon Rawnsley, one of the founders of the National Trust and which led the way in the Arts and Crafts movement. It was here that, for many years, beautiful and much sought after handmade silver and copper metalwork was created that has today become famous around the world. The spacious, split level, open plan lounge with kitchen and dining area is complemented by three welcoming bedrooms, smart shower room and a feature bathroom with roll-top freestanding bath.

Greta Howe
Greta Howe was clean, well decorated and everything worked. It is just 5 minutes from the supermarkets, pubs and restaurants and the bus station which is very useful for us as we only travel around the Lake District by bus. The secondary glazing eliminates the road traffic noise. Views of Latrig and Skiddaw from the balcony. Highly recommended. .

Thank you for review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Greta Howe. It is an ideally located property with fabulous views of the fells. It's great that you have been able to take advantage of the bus service to see the surrounding area and we hope that you enjoyed exploring and seeing what the Lake District has to offer. We hope to be able to welcome you back in the future! Best wishes Keswick Cottages
