Reviews

Great location, nice accomodation
Lovely pad, short walking distance from the centre of Keswick and Derwent Water. Well equipped apartment. It is "upside down" (main living area upstairs, bed/bath downstairs) and our old dog required assistance on the stairs. Bridge Mews is very cosy and comfortable for a winter stay.

Hi, Ben! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review — even if it wasn’t quite the 5/5 we always hope to earn, we really do appreciate your thoughtful feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you found Bridge Mews a lovely, well?equipped place to stay, and that the short walk into Keswick and down to Derwentwater worked so well for you. It’s such a handy spot for exploring without needing the car. We’re really glad the apartment felt cosy and comfortable for a winter stay too — that’s exactly what we want guests to feel when they come back after a chilly day out. The “upside?down” layout certainly makes the most of the light and space upstairs, but we completely understand that it can be a bit tricky for older dogs. We’re sorry your dog needed some assistance with the stairs. Thank you again for your kind words and for sharing your experience so honestly. We’re really pleased you enjoyed your stay overall, and we’d love to welcome you back another time — hopefully for a 5/5 next round. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Great little cottage
Great accommodation for two people in an ideal location close to the main town area, with the benefit of on site parking. Warm on a cold winters day, with underfloor heating on the ground floor and central heating and a log fire in the living area. We have stayed with Keswick Cottages in the past and will do so again.

Hi, Ian! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. It’s wonderful to hear that Bridge Mews suited you so well and that the cosy touches—especially the underfloor heating and log fire—made those winter days even more enjoyable. The location really does make it easy to enjoy everything Keswick has to offer, and having on?site parking is always a bonus. We’re delighted that you plan to return. Your continued trust means a great deal to us as an independent business. We look forward to welcoming you back for another relaxing stay in the Lakes. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Christmas Break
Lovely and very comfortable stay. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely touch with a decorated Christmas Tree and gifts. Liked the fact that any food left over could be left in the property for the food bank. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Cosy cottage in central but quiet location. After a day walking, it’s great to have so many places and choices to eat within a five minute stroll!
Had a great weeks holiday at Bridge Mews. The cottage is in central Keswick but tucked away in a quiet courtyard away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Accommodation very comfortable with log burner. Well equipped with a very impressive hob and cooker. Parking for one car, off road. Walking from the door. And lastly dog friendly. Would highly recommend
Great location, excellent property. Well equipped, warm, spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. Excellent service from Keswick cottages as always.
