Six day break at SamÂ’s Cottage
This was a very pleasant breakin the Keswick town. Sam's is a well laid out accessible cottage withi easy reach of town and activities. It is comfortable with everything you need for your stay, The shower area is great for the less mobile which suited us. The parking area did pose slight worries although the larger cars which use it regularly showed no problems A couple of small points however, there were no information leaflets or instructions on the tele use could not get Netflix (no password on sign in info). The sound box kept screeching. Otherwise a very happy stay and would certainly use again. Keswick Cottages well done
Great location and very comfortable
Second time staying at this cottage, and it is still as good as we remembered. Amazing location in the heart of Keswick, but wonderfully set away from the hustle and bustle. Superbly accessible cottage. Can't wait till our next visit!

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review — and for choosing to return for a second stay. That really does mean a lot to us. We’re delighted to hear the cottage lived up to your memories and continues to offer that perfect balance of being right in the heart of Keswick while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. It’s also great to know you found it so accessible and easy to enjoy. “Can’t wait till our next visit” is always the best feedback we could hope for — we’ll look forward to welcoming you back again very soon! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Super accessible and comfortable!
As a wheelchair user, it's rare to find somewhere to stay that's not only accessible (not just a touch but fully) and is comfortable. Sam's feels homely and considering you are in the middle of town, it's super quiet. Everything from the welcome pack to the customer service was excellent and the app is super helpful for navigating a new place. The only downside is the very narrow entrance from the road, not for the inexperienced driver! Or anyone in a larger car than a small van. You cannot turn around once parked too, so having to reverse up is slightly more tricky! I'm not sure where you could park otherwise as thr road outside is double yellow. Despite this, we managed and would stay here any time we were in Keswick.

Hi, Liz! Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and generous review. We’re genuinely delighted to hear that Sam’s worked so well for you as a wheelchair user – knowing the property felt not only fully accessible but also comfortable and homely really means a great deal to us. It’s lovely to hear you enjoyed the peace and quiet despite the central location, and that the welcome pack, customer service, and app all helped make settling in and navigating a new place easier. Thank you as well for highlighting the parking access so clearly. You’re absolutely right that the entrance is narrow and can be challenging, particularly for larger vehicles or less confident drivers, and we really appreciate you sharing your honest experience. We’re glad you managed it successfully and that it didn’t ultimately detract from enjoying your stay. We’re especially pleased to hear you’d happily stay at Sam’s again whenever you’re in Keswick – that’s the best feedback we could hope for. We’d be thrilled to welcome you back anytime. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Self-catering. Location in town excellent. Access passage narrow for large 4x4.
Second time we have stayed at this property. My dad is a wheelchair user and the whole property is designed with a wheelchair user in mind without making it overly obvious. Great location, parking, washing machine and welcome pack. We'll definitely be booking for a 3rd time!
Very warm and comfortable. All the facilities you would need. Hosts were very quick to fix any issues.
