We stayed for a midweek break. A lovely location and views were fantastic. The accommodation and garden were very spacious and the boot room perfect for muddy boots and muddy dog! Great parking and good wifi.Kim from Sunderland 14th September 2020
We have stayed with Keswick Cottages before and know that their properties are always maintained and presented to a high standard. Roslin is in a great location for walking and running from the door, access to Borrowdale and Newlands, access to the Lake and also walking distance to Keswick. The picture windows frame Skiddaw magnificently and it was lovely to open the curtains to that view every day. We had fabulous weather and a great week, particularly enjoying being on and in the Lake and recommend Derwent Water Marina for hire. We will definitely stay with Keswick Cottages again. A little gem, tucked away. Very warm and cosy - we turned the heating well down, hope that is ok! very comfortable beds - always a nice surprise I find! Well equipped Kitchen, useful side room that opens on to the garden so Flo the dog could amble about and stare up at Skiddaw...the sitting room was very comfortable with fabulous views from the large picture window at the rear. wI-FI was faster than expected and we wanted for nothing. Parking is right in front of the property and very safe. We will definitely return. Staff at KC were very helpful when I contacted them regarding some mis-information from a neighbour , all sorted nw.Eunice & David from Heath Charnock, Chorley 1st January 1970
Lovely out of the way location. Stunning view from the window. Handy boot room for wet coats and boots. Very comfortable accommodation. Nice stroll into Keswick, rain or shine! Footpath was a bit waterlogged so wear waterproofs and sturdy boots! Everyone is dressed the same xxAmanda from Northamptonshire 16th August 2019
I wanted an out of the way location, and this was ideal, whilst being just a 15 minute walk into Keswick for essentials. Nothing prepared us for the view from the window. Stunning. Very comfortable home with essential boot room for wet coats and boots. We were out walking all day, so didn't take advantage of the cafe in the village which looked very inviting. The local pub was friendly, but not so hot on the veggie options. Keswick is a lovely town.Amanda and Reggie from Northamptonshire 17th August 2019
The cottage was in a perfect location. My son commented that the view from the living room was like a painting. The cottage was very comfortable and we wanted for nothing. The local pub was lovely. The walk into Keswick was very enjoyable. I could fault nothingLynn from Liverpool 6th September 2019
