Description

Entering the property, you'll find yourself in the inviting, spacious hallway, where there's plenty of space to store your coats and boots.

There are two beautifully decorated bedrooms off the hallway. The master bedroom is at the front, and includes a king-size divan bed with high quality mattress and luxury crisp white bed linen. There are phenomenal views from the large picture window where you could easily spend time relaxing gazing over the fells. This bedroom also has a brand new en-suite shower room.

Behind the master bedroom is another bedroom with two single beds (beds can be made up as super-king size for a small fee)

The luxury newly-refurbished bathroom is next to the twin bedroom, and makes a calming place to soak tired muscles after a busy day of exploring!

If you’re planning to cook and dine in during your holiday you will not be disappointed with the kitchen-diner! The cupboards are well-stocked with plenty of cookware, glasses and crockery. There is plenty of cupboard and worktop space, along with modern appliances including a full size fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining table comfortably seats six guests.

Through the kitchen, there is another spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and plenty of storage space, along with another shower room.

The living room makes a lovely place to relax during the day with plenty of light, or unwind in the evening enjoying your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The breathtaking views are undoubtedly the showstopper here, but the room is again tastefully decorated with two comfortable, quality, fabric sofas, an easy chair and some unique artwork and lighting which make this a great and original space.

Moving outside, the well-maintained garden space at the back includes a patio area with table seating, perfect for al-fresco dining. The garden does extend beyond the patio, although this area should be explored with caution due to the steepness, with steps up to a further paved area (there are some chairs there to rest your legs after the hike!) and a pretty meadow area behind. It's worth heading up there, if you can, for the amazing views!

The property has been put together with great care and attention to detail, whilst keeping comfort and practicalities at the forefront, to ensure an amazing holiday that will not disappoint.

The house is an amazing base for families to spend time making wonderful new memories, but the layout, flexible bed configuration, and bedroom to bathroom ratio also lends itself well to walkers, friends, or three couples.

This property boasts private parking for two cars (one space is inside the garage – better suited to a smaller car).

There are several steps up from the parking area to the entrance.

Complimentary WiFi is provided for guests.

Being next door to Rock Lynn may prove ideal for two families wishing to holiday together in this popular village location.

Braithwaite is a cosy, close-knit village just outside of Keswick. With a village shop, three local pubs, and plenty of walks right on your doorstep, you won’t even need to leave the village.

If you’re looking to venture out into the Lake District without a car, Braithwaite is serviced by the X4 and X5 bus services, running all the way from Workington to Penrith, linking Braithwaite to local train stations.

Lovley stay with stunning views
Excellent company to book with , all arrangements were very straight forward . A nice touch is supporting the local food bank with excess food t the end of your stay. Property was as described , well equipped and in a fab location .

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you found the booking process straightforward and easy — that’s exactly what we aim for from the very start. It’s especially nice to hear your kind words about the food bank initiative. Supporting the local community is something we feel strongly about, so it’s wonderful to know that was appreciated. We’re also really pleased the property lived up to expectations — well equipped, well described, and in a fantastic location for your stay. Thank you again for your kind feedback, and we’d be very happy to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Somewhere to keep coming back to!
Three Peaks surpassed all our expectations. The three double bedrooms and three bathrooms were all as clean and comfortable as described. The kitchen diner was well equipped for a family of six, self catering most days. The lounge was delightful with the three picture windows each with a different aspect with gorgeous views over the fells. But the best feature was the garden and patio with al fresco dining and views of Skiddaw, Blencathra, the Helvellyn Range, Catbells and Coledale all at once. We did have fantastic weather during our stay which is not guaranteed but we will be booking again and crossing our fingers.

Hi there! Thank you so much for such an incredible and detailed review. We’re absolutely delighted to hear that Three Peaks surpassed your expectations and that it worked so well for your group of six. It’s wonderful to know the bedrooms and bathrooms were as clean and comfortable as expected, and that the kitchen diner had everything you needed for self?catering. We’re also so pleased you enjoyed the lounge — those picture windows really do create a special space to relax and take in the views. And what a fantastic description of the garden — it really is a standout feature. Being able to enjoy al fresco dining while taking in views of Skiddaw, Blencathra, the Helvellyn range, Catbells, and Coledale all at once is something truly unique, and we’re so glad you were able to make the most of it (with a little help from the weather too!). Thank you again for your kind words. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for more sunshine for your next visit — we’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Highly recommended
Three Peaks is very comfortable and well equipped. The views from the windows are wonderful, even better at the top of the garden. The garden is a real bonus, full of plants and flowers. There is a steep slope to the gate followed by steps to the bungalow and garden which could be challenging for anyone with limited mobility We would definitely return

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you found Three Peaks so comfortable and well equipped — and those views really are something special, particularly from the top of the garden. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed the outdoor space too, with all its plants and flowers adding to the setting. Thank you as well for thoughtfully highlighting the slope and steps leading up to the property and garden. This is really helpful for future guests when considering accessibility and choosing the right property for their needs. We’re so pleased you had such an enjoyable stay overall and that you would definitely return — we’d be very happy to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Beautiful property with stunning views, lovely week stay here for family of five adults. Perfectly equipped, loved the extra fridge! Extremely clean and well presented for a Christmas vacation, thank you.
Our second stay, and as enjoyable as the first time. The house is well presented, clean and spacious with plenty of crockery etc. in the kitchen. The views from the two main bedrooms and the living room are glorious and the patio at the top of the back garden is a joy to sit in if the weather is good (but don’t forget anything - it’s 35 steps to the top). There are plenty of local amenities (shop, coffee shops and pubs) with our favourite eating place being the Coledale Inn. We’ll be back!
We have just returned from Three Peaks in Braithwaite, near Keswick. The Bungalow was absolutely beautiful, the rooms, the kitchen and lovely bathrooms. With stunning viewstoo. Well equiped and Warm and very clean. The gardens were ideal if you have a dog as all secure. We inadvertently let the door close as it was a yale lock and had to call Keswick Cottages who were there in a matter of minutes with another key. Thank you Keswick Cottages for your recommendation as the property we initially wanted to go to was already booked.
