Description

Appletree is in the quiet Lakeside village of Portinscale (just outside Keswick) and has some fabulous views of the surrounding fells with local access to lakeshore and marinas.

On the ground floor there is a large open plan lounge, dining/kitchen area with patio doors out onto a paved patio area and enclosed garden. The lounge has two, three seater settees, an easy chair, TV, DVD, CD player and an open fire (ideal for a cosy night in). The kitchen is well fitted and has plenty of cupboard space, fridge, freezer, double fan oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave etc. Off the kitchen there is a small utility area with a washer/dryer, iron & ironing board, coat hooks etc.

On the ground floor there is also a large bedroom with Smart TV and zip/link beds which as standard is made up as a super king size bed but can be made up as two single beds (there is a £15 charge for this). Also on this floor there is a fully tiled shower room with large drench shower,WC and wash basin (with underfloor heating to the tiled floor during the winter months).

Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, is nicely furnished and has lovely views towards the fells. Off this room is a fully tiled en-suite shower room with drench shower, WC and wash hand basin (with underfloor heating to the tiled floor during the winter months). The twin room is spacious and has Smart TV, two single beds wardrobe, drawers, dressing table etc. and again has fabulous views towards the fells. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and looks out towards Skiddaw. This room is offered at £25 for a short break and £50 for a full week. All bedrooms are beautifully dressed with luxury linen and towels.

The fully tiled bathroom has a bath ( which can be turned into a Jacuzzi Bath at an additional charge if requested) separate curved shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. This room also has a tiled floor with underfloor heating in the winter.

To the outside there is an enclosed garden, driveway for parking and a patio area to the back with table, chairs & parasol. Please be aware this property is not suitable for hot tub hire.
