The lounge is very private and has french doors looking out over the rear garden area where you'll have frequent visits from the local wildlife! There is a TV, DVD & stereo with DAB radio, CD player and iPod docking station, very comfortable suite, fire with beech surround, oak dining table and four chairs. A garden table and some chairs are stored under the stairs.

The kitchen has fully-fitted units, electric fan oven & gas hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washer-dryer.

Upstairs, the king-sized room has a solid oak king-size bed, oak bed side tables and wardrobe. This room looks out directly over the River Greta and towards the fells.

The twin room has two solid oak single beds, built in wardrobe and oak drawers. Both bedrooms have co-ordinating bedding and curtains and will be dressed in luxury linen and towels.

The bathroom has a modern, white suite. Bath with shower over, WC, wash basin and shaver point.

This quiet, comfortable cottage is only two minutes from the town centre, backs onto the river Greta, and overlooks fields towards Portinscale and the fells beyond.

Quaver Cottage is in a very quiet location and is ideal for those wishing to get away from the noise of town whilst still being very close to the centre.

Highly Recommended
Great cottage - well equipped, comfortable and conveniently located, with its own off street parking spot. The cottage is located close to Keswick town centre and only a couple of minutes walk from Booths Supermarket but it's well off the main streets and by the river do it's really quiet and peaceful. The USP is that the owners encourage you to put out bird food (provided) and if you do you'll be rewarded with visits from all kinds of birds - including some pretty tame pheasants who aren't adverse to trapping on the patio doors to remind you to feed them! There are also rabbits that visit regularly. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped, clean and maintained to a high standard. Keswick Cottages are great to deal with. They have a very good web site and provide you with plenty of information about the cottage and local attractions and amenities. All in all highly recommended.

Cosy, comfortable accommodation in the heart of Keswick
Quaver Cottage is a modern, well-equipped townhouse in a quiet location, within a few hundred yards of central Keswick. Booking was easy, and a PDF guide was sent in the week before arrival, with all necessary information. Although it should be possible to download the document I somehow only saved a bookmark, which was useless without the wi-fi password - so I strongly recommend writing down or printing the street address, key safe code and wi-fi password in case technology lets you down. The accommodation is as well equipped as a modern home, clean and comfortable. We very much appreciated our own parking place, and access to a lockable visitor's parking place in case friends or family visit. The living room and main bedroom look out onto a small lawn behind which are shrubs and trees, and the River Greta out of sight. The garden has delightful visitors, including rabbits, garden birds and pheasants. Feed for the birds & animals is thoughtfully supplied. Central heating was easy to use, which is essential in Cumbria's unpredictable weather! All in all, we had an enjoyable stay and would thoroughly recommend Quaver Cottage.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Quaver Cottage. It’s in a quiet area yet very close to all the amenities of Keswick. Free parking is a definite bonus. The cottage is extremely clean and extremely well equipped. As it is someone’s holiday home it is more cosy and homely than some other more corporate places. The cottage is close to the river and the garden attracts a lot of birds. I thoroughly enjoyed watching a family of pheasants hanging out in the garden and I think it’s the first time I’ve seen rabbits just outside my back door! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place - I thought it was great.

A fabulous cottage in a wonderful location, just a couple of minutes from the centre but really quiet despite that. I felt at home immediately and it was really cosy and clean.
