Four night stay in September
We had another lovely stay at Gretaside The location together with the gated car park and two minutes walk from the park for our dog make it perfect for us. We love Keswick and Gretaside is a great little bolt hole for a few days away.

Gretaside - needs some TLC
The apartment itself is in an absolutely great location, a few hundred yards from the main street of Keswick. The flat itself is very small. There were cobwebs in most of the rooms, and paintwork throughout was looking a bit battered, in need of a touch up. The inside walls of the kitchen window need addressing, looks like some damp. The kitchen itself has everything you need and has been well done, but there is no cupboard space for any of your food so we have to have it on the microwave and the side. As the apartment is for 2 it maybe worth reducing the amount of crockery and glasses in the cupboards to allow for food storage. The bedroom was cosy, not enough room for our suitcase and holdall, which had to live in the lounge, making the lounge feel smaller. There was a single wardrobe each side of the bed, but mine had the hoover in, again reducing useful storage space. The lounge was perfect for what we needed with a comfortable sofa and chair, small dining table in the corner. All in all we had a great stay, the apartment just needs a bit of TLC to bring it up to scratch and maybe a clever storage solution in the bedroom.

Holiday visit
Have been to these apartments a few times as the location is great just a short walk to the town, the apartment had everything you need and very clean, it's lovely to hear the river, the mattress was a bit too hard for us but that is personal choice, will be going again

Excellent location in the centre of Keswick, easy access to the shops, lake and walks. Private gated parking was appreciated. The apartment was lovely - clean, cosy and had all the essentials to make it an easy stay.

Good bathroom, nice living room. Location very handy. Bed was comfortable. Place was cosy and heating easy to use. Outside the bedroom window a beautiful narrow river flowing past, a beautiful sound. Kitchen facilities were great. A number of other places had failed to provide a simple spatula to cook with but our facilities there were great for that, there was a spatula and lots of other stuff including a new pack of cleaning items. Also a welcome pack of assorted biscuits. The staff did not bother us about checking out, meaning they did not barge in before we had left which had happened at other places so the staff at greta side knew we were there and knew their job. The company are local which to me was a factor as they understand their clients and the area. An excellent place and wonderful stay so thank you for that.
