Reviews

Cosy cottage with fabulous views.
Rose Bank Cottage is cosy and welcoming. We stayed for a week at Easter and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a roast dinner. The back garden was lovely, with stunning views of the fells and the cottage itself is only a short walk to the centre of the village with all its amenities. A lovely place to stay!
Easter at Rose Bank
We booked Rose Bank Cottage for a family of 4 adults and a dog to walk some more Wainwrights. Braithwaite was an excellent location to access the fells and also close to Keswick for shops and amenities when not walking. The cottage is lovely, very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The garden was excellent for the dog and we had visits from pheasants, squirrels and a harvest mouse accessing the bird table. 2 pubs and a cafe in the village provide good meals and access to some lovely, scenic, shorter walks on public footpaths and bridleways. We would definitely recommend and will re-visit when we can. This is the second time we've booked with Keswick Cottages and both houses we've stayed in have been very good.

Thank you so much for your review for your review and recommendation of Rose Bank Cottage! We love that you're returning guests to Keswick Cottages and that this is your first stay in Rose Bank Cottage. We're so happy you found this lovely, comfortable, very clean and that it had everything you needed for your self catering holiday. We think the rear enclosed garden is a great delight of the cottage and perfect for your dog to safely explore. Braithwaite village is a lovely one to visit and has two wonderful pubs and the village café has a brilliant selection of goods. We hope you had a wonderful time on your walks and exploring the area and we can't wait to welcome you back when you next visit! Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Great location, loads of walks, hikes and trail runs straight from the doorstep. Nice enclosed garden for the dogs. A few local pubs and all serve food and dog friendly. A local store for all the essentials. Keswick is a nice walk if you need anything else, but also easy to jump on the bus or use the car.
We had a wonderful stay here with our 3 and 6 year old. Lovely location with beautiful garden and lovely views of the hills. We stayed here with our dog and it was perfect with an enclosed garden we could let him run around in and loads of country walks direct from the cottage. Two local pubs, a coffee shop and village shop all lovely and 5 minutes walk from the cottage. The cottage is fairly small but exactly as the photos show and good value for money. It was nice to be out in the country but still only 5 minutes drive from Keswick. Really highly recommended.
Great stay in this lovely peaceful cottage. Weather wonderful and great walks within easy reach, would definitely recommend.
