Lovely property in excellent location
This is a great place to stay if you want good access to central Keswick , shops, restaurants and pubs . The property is spotless and has everything you need in a self catering property. It was lovely and warm and the bed, large and comfy . The parking was close by and although it was a tight fit with our large car we managed it. We did rely on the considerate parking of others to ensure we could get our car in and out without having to manoeuvre too much , and on one occasion couldn't get it out until we located the driver of a vehicle opposite ( Although this coukd happen anywhere ). However this property is really great for two people , I would highly recommend it , everything is very new and even a washing machine and tumble dryer . The welcome pack was s lovely touch , if we are in the area we would seriously consider returning .

Hi, Alison! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and detailed review — we really appreciate it. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay at Grisedale Pike and found it such a great base for exploring central Keswick, with the shops, restaurants and pubs all so close at hand. It’s lovely to hear you found the property spotless, warm and well equipped — and that comfy, generously sized bed is always a winner after a day out and about. We’re also pleased the little welcome pack was appreciated; it’s those small touches that we hope help guests feel settled straight away. Thank you for mentioning the parking too. You’re absolutely right that it can be a tighter fit with a larger car, and we appreciate your understanding — as you say, situations like that can crop up anywhere. We’re glad it didn’t overshadow what sounds like a really enjoyable stay overall. Knowing you’d highly recommend the property and would seriously consider returning next time you’re in the area means a great deal to us. We’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

We've Just Booked It Again!
Everything from booking process (speaking to a real person) to the stay was F-A-N-T-A-B-U-L-O-U-S. What a brilliant wee bolthole for 2, and as central to the town square as you could possibly be (about 30 steps away). Everything in the accommodation was of high quality, well laid out and a lovely wee surprise card and bottle of sparkly for my 60th from the agent - lovely. The car parking space was right across the road and an easy hop with the bags, and even more appreciated when leaving (with much more than we arrived with due to an array of shopping). Absolutely no downsides and no suggestions for any improvements. In fact, we have just booked it again for later in the year.

Hi John, What an absolute pleasure it was to read your review. Thank you for taking the time to share it — and for sharing it with such brilliant enthusiasm. It genuinely put a smile on our faces. We’re delighted to hear that everything, right from speaking to a real person during the booking process, through to arriving and settling into Grisedale Pike, was exactly what you were hoping for. It’s such a lovely little spot for two, and knowing that its central location, layout and quality all hit the mark for you really does mean a lot. We’re so pleased the card and bottle of sparkly added something extra to your 60th — it’s wonderful to know that small touches like that were appreciated. And great news that the parking space made life easy, especially when it came to heading home with a bit more than you arrived with. Keswick does have that effect. Hearing that you had no downsides at all, and that you’ve already booked to return later in the year, is just the best feedback we could wish for. Thank you again for your kind words and for choosing to stay with us. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

A great location, comfortable accommodation, would book again.
We had a four night stay at Grisedale pike. We found the accommodation to be warm, comfortable, spacious and welcoming with a Christmas tree and lights in the living room. The location is good, close to shops and lovely place to eat. The welcome box for us and a separate welcome box for our dog was appreciated. I would definitely book Grisedale pike again in the future.

Hi, Trixy! We're so happy that you and the pup enjoyed your stay! We're big dog people at Keswick Cottages, so we can never resist throwing in a little extra for them... Grisedale Pike is incredibly conveniently located, and the property is modern while still being comfortable, warm, and inviting. And, of course, has lovely Christmas decs up! We can't wait to see you all (pup included!) again soon. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Fabulous modern apartment right in the center of Keswick, minutes from shops, restaurants, cinema, theatre etc with a private parking space (30 for the week) just across the street. The only minor issues were early morning (530am onwards) noise from delivery and bin lorries so take ear plugs. The bedroom also was very warm in hot weather - but that's so rare in the lake district it is unlikely to affect most stays! We would stay again, and really enjoyed the town centre location rather than staying in a rural property.
Located very centrally in Keswick so ideal for going out and exploring the town. The parking space came in handy for a small (but totally worth it) fee. The only drawbacks are that it’s quite noisy in the night being so centrally located with a lot of foot traffic as people head home from their evenings out but only a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the only amenity that would have been great would have been a fan as it was a very hot weekend! I am sure this is not usually a problem haha. Aside from this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Keswick/the Lake District :)
Awesome lactation and very comfortable.
