Description

The open-plan ground floor has been completely refurbished for 2024 to an exceptional standard, making a wonderful modern space to gather with family and friends.

The kitchen is very well-equipped with quality worktops, appliances and cookware. There is an electric oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, and microwave. There is a bespoke dining table and chairs, comfortable lounge seating, and a wall-mounted smart TV.

There are two very pretty bedrooms with beamed ceilings. On one side of the staircase is the double bedroom, and the recently refurbished bathroom with bath (shower over) wash hand basin and WC. To the other side of the staircase is the twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms are beautifully presented with luxury linen and towels.

Daisy Cottage is one of our longest letting cottages and is ideally situated just off the town centre, full of interest and well worth a visit, very much a home from home.

To the front there is a block paved courtyard with a private allocated parking space (better suited to a small car), and an area to sit out where there is a bench and lovely potted plants.

There is a spacious utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, shoe racks and plenty hooks for coats. Bikes can be stored in this room.

Keswick offers plenty of activities and amenities for your stay. Whether you’re looking for adventure activities, retail therapy, or new and exciting things to do, there’s something to keep everyone entertained.

Need to stock up on groceries for your self-catering Keswick holiday? Booths and Co-Op are Keswick’s two main supermarkets, with produce also available on the Keswick Markets.

If you’re looking to venture out into the Lake District without a car, Keswick is serviced by the X4 and X5 bus services, running all the way from Workington to Penrith, linking Keswick to local train stations

Beautiful cottage in a great central location
Daisy Cottage is a beautifully presented property with everything you could possibly need for a stay in Keswick. Its central location makes it incredibly convenient — perfect for popping into town for the excellent shops, pubs, tap rooms and restaurants, strolling down to the lake and parks, or heading straight out onto the many walking and hiking trails right from the doorstep The cottage is very homely, with a well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a spacious living area. The fresh flowers on the table were a particularly thoughtful touch. We had a week of mixed weather, so the utility room was ideal for storing wet clothes, boots and bags, keeping the cottage clean and clutter-free. The parking space is quite tight, but this is made very clear at the point of booking. We arrived in a small car, which fit perfectly. It's a real bonus to have dedicated parking in such a central location. We had a great time at Daisy Cottage and very much hope to return in the future.

Daisy Cottage
A lovely cottage, very well presented, clean and tidy. However, I think it could be improved by providing kitchen towel, and/or a tea towel to help with the kitchen tasks. Also the car parking was difficult (particularly when there was another car in the courtyard) but that's not something you can do anything about. So overall, I enjoyed my stay and Keswick is lovely.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Daisy cottage. It was clean and super comfortable and centrally located in gorgeous Keswick. We had a great time exploring the wonderful landscape on our doorstep by foot, as well as Grasmere ( que for the gingerbread, it’s worth it!) Windermere and Coniston by car. We were able to cook at home as well as eat out ( recommend the Fellpack for a treat!) as the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, including milk so we could make a cup of tea when we arrived. All together we felt very welcome and looked after!
