With original Georgian features sympathetically restored, this apartment makes an ideal base from which to explore all Keswick has to offer. The apartment is part of the Bridge House Complex which offers private parking for two cars and a large shared garden.

Description

Entering from the courtyard into the elegant open living space with superb kitchen there are two sofas and easy chair, wall mounted Smart TV, DAB radio, I-Pod doc and solid oak dining table and chairs.

The kitchen is very well equipped with Bosch integrated appliances including induction hob, Tassimo coffee machine and quartz worktops.

The elegant master suite provides a king-size bed, original panelled bay window and built in wardrobe. The sophisticated ensuite provides a walk-in rain shower.

The second room provides a comfortable super-king which can be made into a twin for a small charge, and the third bedroom provides a twin which can also be made into a super-king (£15 charge applies). Each bedroom has a solid oak furniture, luxury linens, and quality furnishings.

The stylish fully tiled bathroom provides a shower bath with rainfall feature.The owners provide complimentary WI-FI, Cole & Lewis hand soaps and some towels.

There is a small utility room with laundry facilities.

There are two allocated parking spaces. Additional parking may be available to hire, please contact the office for availability.

Guests staying on the Bridge House Complex can also enjoy the large shared garden, and children's play equipment.

Storage for bikes is available for guests staying on the Bridge House Complex on a first come first served basis - please contact for availability

Keswick At Its Best

Another lovely family holiday in Keswick
Back in Keswick for our annual pilgrimage! Another great family holiday. Granddaughter (4) and grandson (12, non-verbal, autistic) thoroughly enjoy the regular visit, trips on the boats, lake and parks only about 10 minutes walk away. Property is excellent, good parking, and garden has a trampoline and swings which are well used. Some rain, but nothing like what was expected, and it doesn't keep us in anyway! Provisionally booked for 2025!

Another great stay at Bridge House Complex
Stayed in Bridge 1 this summer. We know the complex well, having stayed in the Cottage, the Mews and apartment 3 before. This is a great complex with secure garden for the dogs and off road parking, a real find for central Keswick. I would say that apartment 1 will not be for everyone due to it being ground floor and next to pavement / main road. It wasn’t an issue for us, but I can imagine it might be for some. The secure bike shed is a plus. The garden furniture in the courtyard is plentiful; enough for everyone to have some nice al fresco dining. You are just a few minutes walk from Booths; very handy. The apartment was clean but I think it would probably benefit from a really thorough clean through every now and again. We had an issue with the smoke alarm, response was good, if a little chaotic; all got happily sorted in the end. The courtyard and gardens are communal, so much of your enjoyment rests with the behaviour of your fellow residents during the week you are there but, in general, we’ve always found people to be courteous and friendly. We enjoy staying here very much. The team at Keswick Cottages are always super helpful.

Grandparents, parents, two boys and Bella (Border Terrier) spent another week at Bridge House Apartment 1 - our second visit and it was a pleasure to return - the accommodation there suits us so well and the boys love the garden. It is so handy for popping into Keswick and the shops could hardly be nearer - it's like having a very large larder! The apartment is well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean and has very comfortable beds.

Party of 5 came to Keswick for the weekend, everyone loved the apartment, and their own bedrooms, for us all, it sure had the WOW factor, spotlessly clean, cosy, well fitted with everything we needed, don’t understand previous reviews regarding poor wi-fi, it worked fine for us. Plenty of towels, washer/dryer if needed, comfortable beds. Definitely one of the nices apartments/houses we have stayed in. Two minutes from the town centre, and umpteen walks on your doorstep. A special mention for the lovely housekeeper, who was very friendly and helpful and who obviously works hard at making the place so welcoming, with her subtle little personal touches
