Fabulous Short Break!
We've recently returned from a long weekend staying at Bridge Cottage to celebrate a family member's milestone birthday. The location of Bridge Cottage is fantastic, on the outskirts of the town, you can walk in to the town in 2mins, and 10-15mins takes you to the lake. With parking included for two vehicles, we didn't need to move the cars at all over the weekend - it was such a luxury being able to walk everywhere, and it also saves a good bit of money in parking charges. The cottage itself was really lovely, very comfortable (for 5 x adults, 1 x child and 2 x dogs) and everything we needed during our stay was readily available. All the beds were lovely and comfortable, with high-quality pillows and bed linen to ensure we all slept well. We also very much enjoyed the bath (having only a shower in our bathroom at home) it was lovely to enjoy a soak in a hot bath at the end of the night! We were absolutely blessed with beautiful weather, so the addition of a shared large garden was both appreciated and well used! We returned from our days out and enjoyed sitting out in the sun with some drinks and snacks and our daughter and dogs enjoyed playing on the large grass area with some of the other children and dogs who were in neighbouring accommodation - it was all very sociable and a lovely end to the day!

Hi, Margaret! Thank you so much for such a wonderfully upbeat and detailed review — it really put a smile on our faces. We’re absolutely delighted that Bridge Cottage was the perfect setting for celebrating such a special milestone with your family. It’s fantastic to hear how much you enjoyed the location, with everything so easily walkable that you could leave the cars parked up all weekend — that really is a luxury in Keswick. We’re so pleased the cottage worked well for your whole group, including the dogs, and that everyone slept well thanks to the comfortable beds, pillows, and high?quality linen. Your enjoyment of the bath made us smile too — there’s nothing quite like a long soak after a busy day out. It sounds like you made the most of the beautiful weather as well, and we love hearing how the shared garden became such a sociable and happy space for children, dogs, and grown?ups alike to relax and unwind together at the end of each day. Thank you again for sharing such positive feedback. We’re thrilled Bridge Cottage played a part in such a memorable weekend and would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

A perfect holiday home
The accommodation was all we wanted. We loved the bright and open lounge and kitchen / diner. The bedrooms were a good size and the washing and other facilities a high standard. We had all we needed to cook meals and relax after a busy day. The location is excellent, being really close to the main supermarkets, high street and with easy access to the lake and having parking readily accessible is also a bonus in the busy town of Keswick.
Comfortable and so convenient.
Location is great, two parking spaces makes life so easy. We don't use the car at all once we get to Keswick, local buses are just so reliable. The cottage itself is very comfortable, everything you need to prep and cook in the kitchen, two bathrooms, very nice sitting room for relaxed evenings. Pretty ideal really, we've been three times and will return.

Hi, Jane! Thank you again for leaving such kind feedback about Bridge Cottage. It was lovely to catch up with you on the phone too. The bus service is so underrated, especially when using the X4 or X5 to connect you to Keswick from Penrith North Lakes train station. See you next time! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
