A fresh new bathroom and a further ground floor shower area are provided for convenience. A small private outdoor area with seating for 8 people provides a nice location for a pre-dinner drink. Lockable outdoor storage is provided, perfect for bicycles or other small outdoor equipment.
We visited Keswick for a long weekend with two other couples to do some walking in the fells. We were delighted with the accommodation, which was well appointed and centrally located. The place was spotless and well equipped. It was very easy dealing with the owners who were extremely helpful and prompt in their responses. Overall a great experience and we have booked again for next year.Iain

Rustic bench and vintage metal seating are provided in the kitchen, which is finished to high specification in timber. Number Five retains the turn-of-the-century blue and red hall floor tiles and some of the period bedroom fireplaces (decorative only). A log-burning stove offers cosy warmth in the living area. Guests benefit from a new bathroom and a further shower room, with the latter at ground level. One bedroom is also at ground floor level for those who prefer to avoid stairs. A twin room is available on the second floor on request. The house is just round the corner from the centre of town and provides two parking permits which was ideal for a weekend break during the Mountain Festival. It is very well-equipped and furnished to a high quality in all rooms. The living room is very cosy and comfy and the kitchen is great. No complaints at all, would perhaps suggest adding black-out curtains/a blind in the bedroom as was very light in the mornings. Overall a lovely place to stay!Anna

This is our first booking via Keswick Cottages and hopefully won't be our last .we were a party of 6 adults one little 4 year old and two infants . We found that the accommodation met our needs perfectly. The two ensuites and family bathroom meant no queuing and waiting for each other to get ready. We were extremely lucky with the weather having 5 glorious days out of the seven so not inside very much at all. Having said that the nice large dining room enabled us to have family meals together and the lounge provided enough seating for all of us.The kitchen has more then enough supplies of plates, glasses cups to allow a full load in the dishwasher and still have plenty to use.The location is ideal a short walk to town and on the door step of Fitz park and the leisure centre. We received a quick and curteous response from the agent over a minor query regarding the infant cot we hired .Had no problems at all , we all enjoyed our family time together and our stay at 9 The Townhouses and hope to book again.Langstreth
