This is our 3rd stay in Millside Cottage, it is a lovely place to stay any time of the year - nice walks and a loverly atmosphere in the village itself. Braithwaite is a nice little village with a well stocked shop and a couple of lovely pubs for something to eat and drink! The cottage is spotless, has everything you would need for a stay, well stocked kitchen, comfortable living area and bedrooms. We have never had any need to contact the team/owners but numbers are available in the house if you need them. Would recommend anyone to stay here, like I say we have visited 3 times before and will defiantly be going back!Jenn

Testimonials
Our week at Rock Lynn was a sunny, cold and snowy one but the house was really cosy and we loved the real fire, a novelty to us in this era of gas fires. The property was well-equipped and clean and the owners who live nearby were lovely and very helpful. Beautiful panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains were an added bonus. The staff at Keswick Cottages were most helpful and we appreciated the personal touch. We'll definitely book our next Lakes visit with them.Lynn & Ron

Imagine a pretty lakeland cottage which backs onto open fields with superb fell views and a little running beck at the bottom of the large private garden. The setting provided by Rose Bank Cottage is idyllic for a relaxing family holiday in peaceful surroundings. This lovely home from home has a warm inviting appearance which is further accentuated by the log-burning stove to enjoy cosy nights in. Great base for many local walks and only a short stroll to the village shop and pubs. Free unlimited WI-FI. Private Parking.

This is our 3rd booking with Keswick cottages and again they have been excellent. The best feature about Rosebank has to be the garden. A real suntrap, even in November, with amazing views and so tranquil. The cottage was very clean and the facilities were fine for our party. Our dog did manage to get through the gap in the hedge at the back of the garden so they could maybe put up a small fence for safety. Would certainly return and thanks for the welcome gift of wine and toffees.elaine reavley

Stanger Cottage is a lovely traditional cottage resting conveniently within the village of Braithwaite and used to form part of the old village school, dating back to the late 1800’s. The cottage is spacious with modern fixtures and fittings and plenty of homely touches throughout. All rooms have fantastic views of the fells which are on the door step, and is just a stride away from the local pubs, restaurants, village shop and Whinlatter Forest park is just a few minutes drive away. The cottage makes an excellent base for exploring the Lake District and offers a haven for rest and relaxation after your outdoor adventures.
