Tithe Cottage is very conveniently placed for all the amenities in Keswick. A short walk takes you to the supermarkets, a bit further to good pubs and restaurants. The cottage is ideal for two people. It is small but well planned and equipped. We were always warm and managed to dry clothes fairly easily! A really cosy little cottage.
Mrs Weir from Leicestershire 21st February 2020
Staying here at short notice this weekend. Rebecca who booked it for us was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is lovely, right in the centre of town, in a small courtyard so very quiet. We have a bedroom and shower room downstairs , the lounge with kitchen upstairs. It windy and raining outside but it's very cosy here. Lovely kitchenette. Everywhere very, very clean with good quality furnishing and kitchen ware.
Sowter from Congleton 8th February 2020
Great location, lovely and warm, very clean and cosy and the Christmas decs were a lovely welcome. Thankyou
Glenn & Shelley from St Ives 3rd December 2019
Lovely cottage in the centre of everything great for a short break All the essentials needed will definitely go back
Debbie from York 27th September 2019
What a fab little cottage! Perfect location! Literally can walk straight into town and only about a 10-15 minute walk to the lake, local coop opposite makes it easy to just pop out for anything you might need. Our dog loved his stay too he settled very quickly and for any dog owners staying here there is a pet shop just round the corner called podgy paws brilliant ???? Would definitely stay here again or recommend to anyone who wanted a central location in keswick.
Rachael and John, Northumberland from Tithe Cottage 15th July 2019
Tithe cottage is wonderful, we have now been 7 times. It’s location is fantastic, close to Booths, Podgy Paws pet shop (that’s important for Jeff the dog) and the main high street. Small but has everything you need.
Williamson from Kirkcaldy 11th March 2019
This was our second stay at this little gem of a place. Weather was awful but we stayed cosy and enjoyed the freedom of being able to come and go without having to get the car out as so much on the doorstep. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else now.
Lisa from Clitheroe 2nd April 2018
The Tithe Cottage is a great place and is ideally located for anyone walking into Keswick. The cottage is great and really cosy and has everything you need for your stay. Having the passes to the spa is great as it a really good way to relax after day in the fells and really close by. I would definitely stay there again
Gav from Derby 9th March 2018
This is our 5th time at Tithe Cottage in 7 years! We always love our stay here, its very central and a great base for getting round the lake district! Our dog also loves his stays here!
Williamson from Kirkcaldy 26th February 2018
We stayed in the cottage with our 2 dogs, very clean and cosy, only draw back for us was no secure garden for the dogs. Nevertheless a lovely place to stay.
Karan from Stoke on Trent 13th November 2017
This was our first stay with Keswick Cottages and I must say we were not disappointed. The cottage was small but immaculate and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The layout was quirky with bedroom on ground floor and lounge on top floor but that added to the charm. Thank you and well done Keswick cottages, we will return.
Ruth & Rob from North Tyneside 17th April 2017
Lovely cottage & location so homely. Love Keswick despite the last 2 days of rain! (But thats the Lakes for you!) Many thanks
Marshall & Karen from Bolton 31st March 2017
For a couple this is a fantastic property. Lots and lots of positive selling points to staying here. Underfloor heating, a well fitted kitchen, warm and cosy. Parking is slightly difficult in that you need to park parallel to a wall, but I didn't find this difficult. It's an extremely small price to pay for the location which is perfect being so central to all Keswick has to offer. Highly recommended.
Thomas from Portsmouth 17th February 2017
On arrival at the beautiful and very clean cottage we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco which had been left as a present for our 1st wedding anniversary, thank you Keswick cottages. Tithe cottage is set in a fantastic location in the very beautiful town of Keswick, everything in walking distance, great pubs, supermarkets and everything you would need for a short break away. The cottage was very clean and cosy and we couldn't fault anything. Would definitely recommend using the spa passes which are included. Thank you again Keswick cottages for a fantastic 1st wedding anniversary break, we will definitely be returning.
Paula and Paul Sims 3rd May 2016
Had an excellent weekend stay with our dog in this well situated modern, clean cottage. I can't recomend the location enough, very quiet yet so central. It snowed during our stay which made the surrounding area of Keswick so picturesque and beautiful. Used the free Oxley's Spa vouchers for a lovely restful time and lunch. A lovely stay in a lovely place. Would reccomend others to stay here. Thank you.
Andy, Wendy & Harvey from Yorkshire 16th January 2016
A very mini home away from home. The location was absolutely perfect, much like the weather during our stay. On the one morning it rained we spend it at Oxley's luxury spa using our free passes. Highly recommend this after a few days on the fells. Thank you so much!
Katherine & Mark from Godalming 13th April 2015
Excellent Cottage. Clean , comfortable. Will certainly recommend to family and friends and will certainly come back next year. Also Keswick Cottages, cannot fault them. Staff very helpful and pleasant
Mrs Ford from County Durham 27th June 2014
This is our 2nd stay at this lovely cottage, great location! Both times we had a great holiday. The dog loves coming here on his holidays!
Emma, Paul and Jeff the dog from Scotland 8th February 2013
We love this little cottage our 3rd stay in this cottage but our fourth New Year in Keswick. Booked for next year, can't wait!
John & Joyce from Manchester 28th December 2012
A lovely cosy cottage in a fantastic location. The cottage is compact yet very well equipped. The only problem was the squawking in the courtyard from the gigantic seagull :) We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend this cottage without hesitation.
Tinsley from Lancashire 6th July 2012
We stayed at the cottage for 11 days by having a short break plus a full week hire. We have been coming to Keswick every year for about 12 years for walking holidays and normally stay at one of the guest houses. We have enjoyed the independence of having our own place. The location is ideal with the shops so close after a days long walk. Thomasons the local butcher, past Gregg's on the left have excellent steak pies and fruit pies. The cottage is excellent having everything needed to make a comfortable and economical stay. We will consider staying here again next year and would recommend to any couples looking for a good place to stay.
Mr and Mrs Totte from Norwich 11th June 2012
Our 3rd visit to Tithe Cottage and we love it!! Yes its very compact but really comfortable, we found under floor heating great a nice treat when walking bare footed. Great location and we will be back.
Mr Scott from Co.Durham 6th April 2012
Great cottage and lovely weather. Thank you hope to return soon.
The Marsdens from Lancashire 4th March 2012
This is our first visit to this superb, cosy cottage. Its very well situated for shops etc. We will use this cottage again. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you Keswick Cottages.
Mr and Mrs Warwood from Staffordshire 27th February 2012
Another excellent stay in this lovely modern, clean cottage. I can't recomend the location enough, very quiet yet so central. We love this cottage, thank you!
