Description

The open-plan ground floor has been completely refurbished for 2024 to an exceptional standard, making a wonderful modern space to gather with family and friends.

The kitchen is very well equipped with quality worktops, appliances and cookware. There is an electric oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, and microwave. There is a bespoke dining table and chairs, comfortable lounge seating, and a wall-mounted smart TV.

There are two very pretty bedrooms with beamed ceilings. On one side of the staircase is the double bedroom, and the recently refurbished bathroom with bath (shower over) wash hand basin and WC. To the other side of the staircase is the twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms are beautifully presented with luxury linen and towels.

Daisy Cottage is one of our longest letting cottages and is ideally situated just off the town centre streets, full of interest and well worth a visit, very much a home from home.

To the front there is a block paved courtyard with a private allocated parking space (better suited to a small car), and an area to sit out where there is a bench and lovely potted plants.

There is a spacious utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, shoe racks and plenty hooks for coats. Bikes can be stored in this room.

Keswick offers plenty of options to keep you occupied during your stay. For walkers the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trial which starts next to the Keswick Leisure centre is a 5 kilometre (10 kilometre there and back) walk along what was once a railway track. It offers beautiful views and is a multi-user trial suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you fancy something with a little more elevation and spectacular views, Latrigg and Walla Crag can be reached from your doorstep, and you can even tick off some Wainwrights! 10 minutes out of Keswick is Whinlatter forest, which offers a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities.

Keswick itself offers lots of amenities, from shops to cafés, pubs to theatres, you will be spoilt for choice.

Excellent cottage in a great location
3rd visit this year. Daisy Cottage is an excellently located property with parking space in easy reach of all Keswick's main attractions and amenities. It's very well maintained. We enjoy staying there and look forward to staying again. Thank you.
Great stay
This was our first time using Keswick Cottages and our stay in Daisy Cottage was great. The booking process was easy and it was easy to get hold of Keswick Cottages whilst we were away, we have booked through them again Daisy Cottage was very roomy for the two of us, was great to have extra space for our clean gear in the spare room and space for our wet gear in the utility room. Plenty of room to relax as well. The property has clearly been refurbished recently and to a very high standard. It was immaculate. I agree with some of the reviews that the cottage is chilly, there is a thermostat but not all of the radiators seemed to come on when we turned it up. However it is an old cottage so we expected this and brought cosy clothes so it didn't really bother us. Location is excellent. You get some noise from people heading home on a Saturday night but nothing major and to be expected when you're two secs from the pub! We booked to stay again before we left.
Our short stay in Keswick
Our stay in Keswick was excellent with regards to the accommodation and it being so central to the town centre. Amazing shops, eating and drinking establishments! Would strongly recommend this place to visit.

Hi David, Thank you for your review. It's central location makes Daisy Cottage the perfect accommodation for exploring Keswick, whether you are climbing the fells or doing some shopping. The parking space is an added bonus and with the bus stop being so close there is no need to move your car until home time! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

The cottage is fitted & equipped to a high standard. Very clean & well maintained. Great location. Parking tight for a large car. Would definitely recommend.
My family and I had a lovely stay at Daisy cottage. It was clean and super comfortable and centrally located in gorgeous Keswick. We had a great time exploring the wonderful landscape on our doorstep by foot, as well as Grasmere ( que for the gingerbread, it’s worth it!) Windermere and Coniston by car. We were able to cook at home as well as eat out ( recommend the Fellpack for a treat!) as the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, including milk so we could make a cup of tea when we arrived. All together we felt very welcome and looked after!
Clean and modern in a great location.
