Overview

This 18th Century, two bedroom beamed cottage is very comfortable and is just around the corner to the town centre, lake and parks, an ideal situation for those wanting to be close to all the local amenities. Situated in a small square just of Derwent Street, the cottage offers private, yet very central accommodation with the bonus of private parking. The ground floor is open plan and therefore feels very spacious. An established long term favorite, well worth a visit. Plenty of storage for bikes, boots, jackets etc.

The two beautiful bedrooms are furnished with oak furniture and come beautifully dressed in excellent quality linens to ensure a comfortable nights rest

Description

The ground floor is all open plan and offers a wonderful space for holidays. The lounge area has a large three seater sofa and an easy chair, TV, DVD, and CD player. There is also a dining table and four chairs.

The kitchen is very well equipped and has electric oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, microwave etc. There is plenty of worktop space and is well lit.

There are two very pretty bedrooms with beamed ceilings. The double bedroom has oak furniture with excellent quality linens and luxury towels. Next to the double room is a brand new bathroom with bath (with shower over) wash hand basin and WC. The second bedroom has two single beds. Off this room there is an en-suite shower room with large shower, wash hand basin and WC.

Daisy Cottage is one of our longest letting cottages and is ideally situated just off the town centre streets, full of interest and well worth a visit, very much a home from home.

To the front there is a block paved courtyard with a private allocated parking space (better suited to a small car), and an area to sit out where there is a bench and lovely potted plants.

There is a separate utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, shoe racks and plenty hooks for coats. Bikes can be stored in this room.

Fantastic property in fab location
We have enjoyed a wonderful stay in Daisy Cottage. We return regularly and this year enjoyed the benefits of a well thought out renovation downstairs. The new door linking the outhouse with the living area is a boom and helps keeping outdoor gear away from the rest of the property. Especially on rainy days. Before you had to go outside to access it. The cottage is warm and comfortable. Sitting for four is a bit tight and for visitors like us who eat in a lot a bit more cooking equipment would be handy. The new appliances are excellent. The on site parking is a boom as well as parking in Keswick can be a nightmare. Overall a fabulous property in a fabulous location. We will be returning next year.

Lovely stay with brilliant service
Daisy Cottage is ideally situated in the centre of Keswick. Comfortable cottage which was very well equipped for self catering. Unfortunately the cottage did not provide instructions for any of the devices. Took us a day to work out how to turn on electric fire. We have never used on before. Couldn't use oven at all again not used to that way of cooking. Heating on a fixed temperature which left the main bathroom freezing. We contacted Keswick Cottages and they were very helpful. With instruction booklets and the ability to adjust the heating this would be a super holiday cottage. Parking is very tight. Keswick Cottages were super to deal with. Will definitely book with them again

Daisy Cottage, Keswick
Absolutely wonderful place. Great location and very easy to find thanks to the directions provided by the hosts. Easy access and departure. Off road parking space directly outside the cottage. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very good and well proportioned. Utility/drying room (containing washing machine/dryer/iron) was a godsend. Fully stocked kitchen, TV, internet. Hairdryer for the ladies Extremely clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning

Daisy Cottage is in the centre of Keswick, yet a in quiet location, and within walking distance of the lake. Everything you would need for a self catering stay is provided. A very comfortable cottage and so nice to leave the car parked outside to just step outside and walk everywhere. I would definitely recommend Keswick Cottages.
