Excellent location just opposite the Co-op, close to the Pencil Museum and a short walk to the centre of Keswick. Two parking bays are allocated to Appartment 3, a real bonus. There is an attractive patio and lawned area shared by Bridge House occupants. Apartment 3 is on the second floor and enjoys lovely views of the fells from all windows. The apartment is warm and comfortable, well decorated and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. It has everything you need including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, a coffee maker, plenty of crockery and cutlery. The WiFi was reliable with a good signal, not always the case in rental properties in Keswick!! Highly recommended
stephen from Beverley 16th September 2019
My third booking through Keswick Cottages and second at the Bridge House complex. The flat was immaculate very clean and comfortable with great decor and furnishings. The only downside was lack of toilet rolls and no kitchen roll provided it did not spoil our stay but hope this feedback helps. The location was superb so central with everything on the doorstep. Highly recommend
Hazel Robertson from Gateshead 12th August 2019
We love this apartment. High quality all round! Thank you.
Alison V from Amersham 27th October 2018
Wonderful accommodation, warm and spacious. Many thanks, hope to visit again.
Tracey C from West Yorkshire 15th September 2018
Lovely apartment with every facility to make it a home from home while enjoying Keswick and the surrounding Lakes. Keswick Cottages web site made booking easy.
Malcolm from Somerset 1st September 2018
Just fabulous, had a wonderful time! Well decorated, well equipped, and very central. Keswick is my most favourite place.

We come to the Lake District every year and have stayed in many different apartments. This one was head and shoulders the best we have stayed in. It is very spacious with a large king room ensuite, a large twin room and a smaller twin at the rear of the property. The living room is huge with a compact but well equipped kitchen. The views are beautiful with Skiddaw to the front and Catbella to the rear. The whole apartment is decorated to a very high standard. It's ideal for a group of adults as it comfortably sleeps 6. It also has two parking spaces which is a real bonus, especially considering how close to town it is. There is a lovely shared garden with trampolines, a swing and slides which was great for us with a toddler. The location just can't be beaten. You are literally steps away from the bottom of the Main Street. There is a little road noise, but nothing too disruptive and there is no noise from pubs or restaurants which was an issue with a previous town centre property we rented. Keswick is a fantastic base for anyone who wants to explore the lakes, the scenery is breath taking and it's full of wonderful shops, pubs and restaurants. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and in fact we have already booked apartment 2 in the same building for next year!
Mcmahon from Cork 29th April 2017
We took a long weekend booking with a group of friends some in apartment 2, some in apartment 3, above and below each other which is ideal for a large party. I've stopped at Bridge House properties before and knew what to expect but others who hadn't visited were mightily impressed. The apartments are spacious and well equipped and you have the town on your doorstep, what's not to like. Keswick is one of the finest Lake District towns and there are numerous walks you can do from Keswick without needing the car, which is safely tucked away in the courtyard parking. Try Skiddaw, Latrigg, Cat Bells or Walla Crag and then go for a pint in the Dog and Gun and finish off with half a Cow Pie in the George, word of warning though don't be tempted by the full Pie!
Hodgson from North Yorkshire 6th February 2017
We had a lovely stay. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. The gallery pictures need to be updated a little as the climbing play area no longer exists and there is now a trampoline. Despite being on one of the main roads in Keswick, road noise is non-existent at night. Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with Keswick Cottages and will be delighted to come back again next year.
The Russells from Edinburgh 16th October 2016
Lovely apartment. Very well equipped. Great outdoor area, our two year old toddler loved the trampoline and play area. Would definitely recommend and would book again.
Andersons from Manchester 8th June 2013
Great location, well equipped apartment, everything you need and more!
McDonald Family from Lancashire 16th February 2013
Lovely apartment, we’ve had a great week in spite of the weather – our waterproofs had a great workout! Thank you for a great place to base ourselves – very well equipped.
Karen and John Pear from Darlington 28th December 2011
Amazing apartment, absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Had a brilliant weekend. Star of Siam is excellent for food and Bank Tavern for mulled wine. See you next year!
The Hoolihan clan from Prescot 2nd December 2011
Fabulous as usual, new kitchen is gorgeous and works really well. Lovely walks and great adventures. Thanks again and see you in August!
Kathryn, Paul and Owen Jackson from Swindon 21st May 2011
We had a lovely week in the Lake District and were very pleased with our cottage. Very clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. We found it much more than just an average holiday home to stay. The only minor detail was that I had expected the colors of autumn to be more explicit. They were too green still. But this is of course not for us mortals to control. If anyone of our friends ever decides to visit the Lake District, I will certainly recommend Keswick Cottages.
