This split level apartment has some stunning views from both the front and back windows. All the ceilings have been raised to expose the original large roof beams. Again all the furnishings are to the highest standard and offer a very comfortable home from home. The open plan lounge, kitchen, diner has a fabulous corner leather suite and a leather tub chair, flat screen TV, DVD , CD player, iPod dock, DAB radio and coal effect fire. There is also an oak dining table and chairs. The newly fitted kitchen area comes with all modern appliances; oven and hob , fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave.There is a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board in a small utility area. There are three spacious bedrooms. The double bedroom again has exposed beams, views towards the fells and is furnished in pine. This bedroom also has an en-suite shower room with w.c. shower and wash hand basin. The second bedroom is again spacious, has exposed beams and has two single pine beds, pine furniture and views towards Skiddaw. The third bedroom has two single pine beds, pine furniture and although it has sloping ceilings is still spacious and has views over the rooftops to the fells. The bathroom is fully equipped and has bath with shower over, w.c., wash basin and shaver point. A pack of towels (bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel) are provided per bedroom. Reduced Occupancy is available at Bridge House Apartment 3 from October to May (excluding school holidays). We are able to offer this service by locking off un-used rooms saving on cleaning and energy costs.  Prices are reduced to reflect the number of bedrooms/bathroom used, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom or 2 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms. Standard 1 bedroom booking (double bedroom & main bathroom), 2 bedroom booking (double with en-suite & twin bedroom with bathroom). If this room configuration is not what your require, please contact the office either by phone or email with your room choices.  Please note there will be a £15 charge for any room changes after arrival at the property.

We come to the Lake District every year and have stayed in many different apartments. This one was head and shoulders the best we have stayed in. It is very spacious with a large king room ensuite, a large twin room and a smaller twin at the rear of the property. The living room is huge with a compact but well equipped kitchen. The views are beautiful with Skiddaw to the front and Catbella to the rear. The whole apartment is decorated to a very high standard. It's ideal for a group of adults as it comfortably sleeps 6. It also has two parking spaces which is a real bonus, especially considering how close to town it is. There is a lovely shared garden with trampolines, a swing and slides which was great for us with a toddler. The location just can't be beaten. You are literally steps away from the bottom of the Main Street. There is a little road noise, but nothing too disruptive and there is no noise from pubs or restaurants which was an issue with a previous town centre property we rented. Keswick is a fantastic base for anyone who wants to explore the lakes, the scenery is breath taking and it's full of wonderful shops, pubs and restaurants. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and in fact we have already booked apartment 2 in the same building for next year!

We took a long weekend booking with a group of friends some in apartment 2, some in apartment 3, above and below each other which is ideal for a large party. I've stopped at Bridge House properties before and knew what to expect but others who hadn't visited were mightily impressed. The apartments are spacious and well equipped and you have the town on your doorstep, what's not to like. Keswick is one of the finest Lake District towns and there are numerous walks you can do from Keswick without needing the car, which is safely tucked away in the courtyard parking. Try Skiddaw, Latrigg, Cat Bells or Walla Crag and then go for a pint in the Dog and Gun and finish off with half a Cow Pie in the George, word of warning though don't be tempted by the full Pie!

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. The gallery pictures need to be updated a little as the climbing play area no longer exists and there is now a trampoline. Despite being on one of the main roads in Keswick, road noise is non-existent at night. Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with Keswick Cottages and will be delighted to come back again next year.

We had a lovely week in the Lake District and were very pleased with our cottage. Very clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. We found it much more than just an average holiday home to stay. The only minor detail was that I had expected the colors of autumn to be more explicit. They were too green still. But this is of course not for us mortals to control. If anyone of our friends ever decides to visit the Lake District, I will certainly recommend Keswick Cottages.
