Inside the property, the large lounge boasts a comfortable window seat from which both the busy Keswick town centre and beautiful mountain top views can be enjoyed. There  is WIFI throughout, and smart TV, DVD player, and IPod docking station in the lounge. The Kitchen Diner also has a sofa, a flat screen TV and dining table for six which can be extended. The kitchen area is equipped with everything you would need for a perfect self-catering holiday; ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and lots of cupboard space   The three bedrooms are all on the second floor. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, there is a second double bedroom, with a small double bed and a roomy twin bedroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. The family bathroom is on the second floor with bath and shower mixer. The downstairs shower room has a shower, WC and wash hand basin.  The property is double glazed and has gas fired central heating so is warm and cozy in the winter months. There is a private parking space to the rear of the property. Access is via a staircase (at the rear of the building) which leads to the entrance door on the first floor.

Alban Rise is situated in a perfect location for easy access to all the surrounding fells, lakeside, shops, restaurants and transport right on your doorstep. Although it is in the heart of Keswick there is little disturbance or noise throughout the day or night. You can easily explore by bus, ferry or just walking in any direction. The apartment has all you need for a short or long stay in the lakes and although very spacious, it is warm and cosy throughout. The staff at Keswick Cottages are very attentive and responsive, resolving a couple of minor issues we had on the same day that we contacted them. This is our first time with Keswick Cottages and it has been the best experience we have had in over 40 years of holidays in Keswick and Borrowdale and we are looking to book with them again in 2019 - highly recommended.

This apartment is in the perfect location and was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was lovely to be able to see the hills from the back and so handy for the shops on the front but not noisy at all. We loved that there was a parking space too and it was so lovely to have the bath toys for the children and soft toy on the bed put out to make them feel extra welcome too. We really couldn’t fault this apartment it had everything we needed during our stay and the beds were comfy too. Would definitely recommend and love to return one day.

The apartment was very impressive with all the facilities required for a lovely relaxing stay. Two mins from a great supermarket (booths) perfect for picking up what you need for the day. The location couldn't really be any better with access to everything on your doorstop and lovey views from the apartment. Would I come again, 100%. Thanks you for a great stay.

We stayed at Alban Rise for a couple of nights over Easter; it was in an ideal location in the heart of Keswick and with a parking space. The flat was had three bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for the five of us; and was clean, warm and spacious. We will definitely be back.

We had a great week here with our 2 boys (5 and 6). There was loads of room in the apartment and it was a very comfortable home from home. The boys especially liked watching all the people and cars going by from the window seats. The apartment has everything you'd need for a self catering holiday and you are literally right into the centre of the town within a few minutes walk. There is so much to do within a short distance that we rarely used our car once we were there. There are loads of good walks, an indoor soft play/climbing centre, leisure centre, a great park, museums, theatre and loads of child friendly pubs and restaurants all within a short distance. Our boys favourite thing was to take our torches down to the lake after our evening meal and go on an adventure through the woods. Another favourite was a trip to Whinlatter Forest Park (a short drive away), which had a great stickman trail to follow (also has a go ape centre). We will definitely be returning!

We stayed at Alban Rise for 5 nights in July. The apartment is very spacious, well appointed and has a great central location. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance. This is a great base for a walking or family holiday. We would highly recommend Alban Rise and hope to return soon.

Lovely property with plenty of space for our party of six with all mod cons provided. The central location meant we had access to all surrounding attractions and didn't need to use our car for the whole week.
