Famous for more than just their Instagram videos, Yonder is another unique, dog-friendly cafe with real personality in the heart of Keswick town centre.
Local Charlotte Williams opened Yonder in 2023, taking over the old ‘Bruce & Luke’s’ venue, after previously managing the Round, and working in hospitality in Australia and New Zealand. Inspired by how they do it ‘down-under’, Charlotte decided to bring a little taste of her travels back to Keswick. How lucky are we?

More than just a cafe, Yonder, in partnership with Beyond Fitness, runs ‘mindful miles’, a run club designed to blend mindset and movement. This community running club is less about competition, and more about movement as a means to meet people, explore the Lake District, and find new people to chat to. Personally, we think it’s a welcome change from the usual competitive dynamic of fitness clubs, particularly in Keswick, and strips things down to the basics: movement is great for your mental health; spending time outdoors is great for your mental health, and doing all of this within a group of likeminded people is even better.
Yonder serves a range of hot and cold drinks, including the ever-popular matcha latte: hot, or iced. One of their most famous offerings is the Beetroot Latte– same incredible flavour and caffeine fix, but pink! I mean, come on… where else are you gonna get a pink latte?! Sarah H loves the cakes, especially the cinnamon buns!
