Great holiday home
Our second stay at this fabulous house in a great location with just a short walk into Keswick. Very comfortable beds & furnishings & hot tub was well used during our stay. I agree about the Biffa bin outside being a bit of an eyesore. It would be beneficial to the look of the property if the hard standing was tarmaced over so your car was off road. A few niggles but overall a great place to stay.
Highly Recommend Will Stay Again! Couple of small niggles.
We've stayed at Fellside Hideaway twice now and will absolutely stay again. The location, the views, and the standard of the property are fantastic and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you're thinking about staying then do it is absolutely a five star property. 2 niggles. This year when we arrived there was a large red Biffa bin dominating the front garden (and the whole street) that was shared with the neighbours who were coming on to our property to put waste in. I found this so disappointing that the whole front of the property was dominated by this and it must also be disappointing for residents on the street to pull up every day and see it. For the amount of rental the property is receiving, even a low budget wooden bin store at the very least would make a significant difference I do think this needs to be sorted immediately. When the hot tub maintenance man came on day 5 of a two week stay. I asked for mid-stay empty and clean he said yes he would come and do it either the next day or day after and he didn't do it. Felt fobbed off and a little dismissed.
Stay in July
The house was lovely had everything we needed brilliant views and great location, very spacious. The utility room was a great addition

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the house so spacious, well equipped, and in such a fantastic location. It’s wonderful to know the views were a highlight too — there’s nothing quite like waking up to Lake District scenery! We’re also pleased the utility room proved useful during your stay. It’s one of those practical features that can make a real difference, especially after a day out exploring the fells. Thank you again for your kind words. We’re so pleased you had an enjoyable stay and would be delighted to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
