For the more adventurous hikers, why not climb Walla Crag? Or… take on the mighty Skiddaw, standing at 931m!

 

Alternatively, you can take a walk down the extremely popular Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Line or jump on a launch and enjoy the beautiful surroundings from the lake. For stunning, 360 degree views over the surrounding fells, head up to the Castlerigg Stone Circle and take in the history of this 5000 year old natural attraction.

For family activities, head down Fitz Park and try your hand at tennis, bowling, or take your bike for a spin on the BMX pump track!

Take a stroll through the beautiful gardens at Hope Park, followed by a game of crazy golf and an ice cream from Café Hope.

Feeling hungry? You’ll be spoilt for choice with a range of cafés, eateries, restaurants and pubs. For a quick bite to eat, pick up one of the freshly made sandwiches from Jans Lakeland Sandwich Shop. If you’re after a dog-friendly pub, serving good food and real ales, check out the Royal Oak.
