Description

The open-plan ground floor has been completely refurbished for 2024 to an exceptional standard, making a wonderful modern space to gather with family and friends.

The kitchen is very well-equipped with quality worktops, appliances and cookware. There is an electric oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, and microwave. There is a bespoke dining table and chairs, comfortable lounge seating, and a wall-mounted smart TV.

There are two very pretty bedrooms with beamed ceilings. On one side of the staircase is the double bedroom, and the recently refurbished bathroom with bath (shower over) wash hand basin and WC. To the other side of the staircase is the twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms are beautifully presented with luxury linen and towels.

Daisy Cottage is one of our longest letting cottages and is ideally situated just off the town centre, full of interest and well worth a visit, very much a home from home.

To the front there is a block paved courtyard with a private allocated parking space (better suited to a small car), and an area to sit out where there is a bench and lovely potted plants.

There is a spacious utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, shoe racks and plenty hooks for coats. Bikes can be stored in this room.

Keswick offers plenty of activities and amenities for your stay. Whether you’re looking for adventure activities, retail therapy, or new and exciting things to do, there’s something to keep everyone entertained.

Need to stock up on groceries for your self-catering Keswick holiday? Booths and Co-Op are Keswick’s two main supermarkets, with produce also available on the Keswick Markets.

If you’re looking to venture out into the Lake District without a car, Keswick is serviced by the X4 and X5 bus services, running all the way from Workington to Penrith, linking Keswick to local train stations

Great stay at Daisy Cottage
We've been going to Keswick 2x each year staying at self catering cottages for the last 16 years and Daisy Cottage is by far the best ones we've stayed in. Great location High spec facilities Parking (it's a bit of a squeeze but we've managed) Comfortable heating 2 bathrooms Very very clean

Hi Tristan, Thank you very much for your fantastic review of Daisy Cottage. To hear that it is the best self?catering property you’ve stayed in over sixteen years of visiting Keswick really is tremendous praise, and we’re extremely grateful you took the time to share it. We’re delighted that the location, high?spec facilities, cleanliness, comfort, and the provision of parking and two bathrooms all worked so well for you. It’s especially pleasing to know the cottage met your expectations so fully, given your extensive experience of staying in the area. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Daisy Cottage again on one of your future visits to Keswick. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Excellent accommodation and location
Very comfy modernised cottage. A hidden gem! Utility room includes loads of space for boots, jackets etc. to dry out.

Hi, Karin! Isn't Daisy Cottage just brilliant? In absolutely every way. Aside from the utility room and modern furnishings and amenities, you even get Lotus Biscoff cookies when you arrive, as well as everything you need to make a really good brew on arrival. You'll want for absolutely nothing at Daisy Cottage, and this is what makes guests choose to return again and again. We'd love to see you again soon! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Anniversary
Cottage was beautiful but heating was a terrible just warm so at night we were really cold outside is not as pretty as pictured bins weeds not very clean and the parking was a nightmare y husband had to climb in the passenger side to get into the car saying all this the cottage was lovely but we would not return

Hi, Ann! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we’re really sorry to hear that some parts of your stay weren’t as you’d hoped. We always want guests to feel warm, comfortable and fully able to enjoy their time with us, so it’s disappointing to hear that wasn’t the case for you. We do wish you’d contacted us during your stay, as we could have helped right away. Guests are able to control the heating themselves, and if something isn’t working as expected we’re always happy to pop round and sort it — day or night. We never want anyone feeling cold, especially in the evenings. Regarding the outdoor area, Daisy Cottage has a simple paved patio, so it shouldn’t have weeds, and the photos online accurately reflect that space. The cottage is also in a residential area, which means the surroundings include neighbouring homes and their outdoor spaces — something we aren’t able to alter. We’re sorry to hear you found the parking tight as well. We completely understand your husband’s frustration — getting in via the passenger side is never ideal, and some cars are bigger than others. We're always happy to advise re: alternative parking arrangements, or can even check how your car will fit prior to your arrival. We’ll make sure the listing continues to be as clear as possible so guests can judge whether the space will suit their vehicle. All that said, we’re really pleased to hear you still found the cottage itself beautiful, even though the experience overall didn’t leave you wanting to return. We genuinely appreciate your honesty, and we’ll continue to use feedback like yours to improve where we can. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

The cottage is fitted & equipped to a high standard. Very clean & well maintained. Great location. Parking tight for a large car. Would definitely recommend.
My family and I had a lovely stay at Daisy cottage. It was clean and super comfortable and centrally located in gorgeous Keswick. We had a great time exploring the wonderful landscape on our doorstep by foot, as well as Grasmere ( que for the gingerbread, it’s worth it!) Windermere and Coniston by car. We were able to cook at home as well as eat out ( recommend the Fellpack for a treat!) as the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, including milk so we could make a cup of tea when we arrived. All together we felt very welcome and looked after!
Clean and modern in a great location.
