Description

The open-plan ground floor has been completely refurbished for 2024 to an exceptional standard, making a wonderful modern space to gather with family and friends.

The kitchen is very well equipped with quality worktops, appliances and cookware. There is an electric oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, and microwave. There is a bespoke dining table and chairs, comfortable lounge seating, and a wall-mounted smart TV.

There are two very pretty bedrooms with beamed ceilings. On one side of the staircase is the double bedroom, and the recently refurbished bathroom with bath (shower over) wash hand basin and WC. To the other side of the staircase is the twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms are beautifully presented with luxury linen and towels.

Daisy Cottage is one of our longest letting cottages and is ideally situated just off the town centre streets, full of interest and well worth a visit, very much a home from home.

To the front there is a block paved courtyard with a private allocated parking space (better suited to a small car), and an area to sit out where there is a bench and lovely potted plants.

There is a spacious utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, shoe racks and plenty hooks for coats. Bikes can be stored in this room.

Keswick offers plenty of options to keep you occupied during your stay. For walkers the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trial which starts next to the Keswick Leisure centre is a 5 kilometre (10 kilometre there and back) walk along what was once a railway track. It offers beautiful views and is a multi-user trial suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you fancy something with a little more elevation and spectacular views, Latrigg and Walla Crag can be reached from your doorstep, and you can even tick off some Wainwrights! 10 minutes out of Keswick is Whinlatter forest, which offers a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities.

Keswick itself offers lots of amenities, from shops to cafés, pubs to theatres, you will be spoilt for choice.

Weekend in Keswick
Lovely cottage, very central but quiet, we had a lovely weekend. Very clean, beds very comfy and everything we needed in the kitchen (although we did eat out can highly recommend Fellpack restaurant). The only downside was the WiFi which is patchy to say the least, but what do you expect with all those beautiful big hills! Just be warned though if you're staying there with young people, they will moan about how slow it is, but apart from that I would definitely recommend Daisy Cottage

Hi Joane, Thank you for your review. Daisy Cottage is very handy for the town centre whilst still being on a quiet street meaning you get the best of both worlds. The parking space is an added bonus. We hope you had a great stay and hope to welcome you back soon. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Lovely Cottage
My wife and I together with our daughter and grandson had a very enjoyable stay in Daisy Cottage and have already rebooked for next year. The property is in excellent condition and is exceptionally clean and well equipped. If I wanted to be critical I would say that the internet needs improvement as it is very slow and the property would benefit from more plug sockets in the main bedroom (we couldn't find any spare ones) and a socket in the bathroom for shave/toothbrush. Otherwise, I couldn't fault it. Also, the off street parking is a real benefit.

Hi John, Thank you for your review. We're so pleased that you had such a good stay that you have already booked for next year. Daisy Cottage is perfectly located close to the town centre, making it a great base for exploring the town and all it's amenities. The off street parking is definitely an added bonus! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Excellent accommodation in a very central location
We have been staying in Daisy Cottage for over 25 years. Always our first choice in Keswick. Excellent.

Hi Neil, Thank you for your review of Daisy Cottage. It's lovely to hear that you have been coming here for 25 years and that it is always your first choice. It is a lovely cottage. Handy for the town centre with all it's amenities including the cinema. We hope to welcome you back for many more years to come. Best wishes, Sarah Keswick Cottages

The cottage is fitted & equipped to a high standard. Very clean & well maintained. Great location. Parking tight for a large car. Would definitely recommend.
My family and I had a lovely stay at Daisy cottage. It was clean and super comfortable and centrally located in gorgeous Keswick. We had a great time exploring the wonderful landscape on our doorstep by foot, as well as Grasmere ( que for the gingerbread, it’s worth it!) Windermere and Coniston by car. We were able to cook at home as well as eat out ( recommend the Fellpack for a treat!) as the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, including milk so we could make a cup of tea when we arrived. All together we felt very welcome and looked after!
Clean and modern in a great location.
