A haven for walkers, the Coledale Inn is the best place to enjoy lunch, pub classics, or a good pint!
The Coledale serves light bites, main meals, and desserts daily, with an additional Sunday Lunch menu every… Sunday, obviously…
Highlights include the buffalo cauliflower florets and the raspberry Eton mess!
With a menu as long as your arm, including a children’s menu and varied specials board, the Coledale is a refuge offering quality, affordable food with (what we would argue is) some of the best views from a Lake District restaurant!
The Coledale is ideally situated for walkers trekking up Barrow Fell, a modest hike of 455m, but with incredible 360-degree views from the summit. Great for families with older children, or experienced young fell-walkers. Less frequented than Catbells or Latrigg, Barrow is often a more peaceful walk than other fells of similar difficulty. Start at the Braithwaite Village Shop, and finish at the Coledale Inn.
