For those who want to explore the mines but fancy a bit more of an adrenaline packed adventure, Climb the Mine is definitely for you. The underground experience will allow you to journey through the subterranean world, scaling the cavern walls, traversing tunnels, climbing ladders all while discovering fascinating artefacts.
Suitable for ages 8+ (over 1.3m tall). All weather activity.

The Infinity Bridge
The award winning Infinity Bridge offers customers stunning views over the Borrowdale Valley, suspending you 1000 ft in the air. A fantastic experience for groups of friends and families!

Via Ferrata Classic
The home of the UK’s original and most renowned Via Ferrata experience, it is the ideal starting point for those wanting to dip a toe into the world of climbing, or try something out of their comfort zone. Led by experienced guides, the classic Via Ferrata route offers a mix of scrambling and climbing along Honister Crag; don’t worry though you will be clipped into a cable at all times for your safety!

Via Ferrata Extreme
Are you a Via Ferrata pro? Or just fancy a bit more of a challenge? Then Via Ferrata Extreme is for you! Setting itself apart from the classic Via Ferrata, the Extreme offers additional exciting elements such as overhanging descents, a Burma Bridge and a daring sky ladder to test your mettle.

Canyoning
Honister’s Canyoning adventure offers a chance to play in nature’s own waterpark. Only 15 minutes from the base at Honister Slate Mine, take a exciting adventure through rugged gorges, navigating waterfalls and pools, all whilst mastering the art of abseiling amidst the stunning landscapes the Lakes has to offer.
