Appletree is a 3/4 bedroom, 3 bath/shower room house in the quiet Lakeside village of Portinscale (just outside Keswick). A fabulous home with much thought and consideration given to the layout, decoration and furnishing. Very well finished offering spacious, high quality accommodation with some lovely homely touches. Wonderful fell views to the front and rear, an enclosed garden and off road parking for three cars.
A fantastic property! We've been booking with Keswick Cottages for 18 years now and have never been disappointed. We now have a dog and never thought we'd find a luxury property that allows pets. Lovely comfy home, very well equipped, comfy beds and the downstairs bedroom was perfect to allow our elderly Auntie to stay with us. Will definatly return!Thank you once again Keswick Cottages. A charming Lakeland 'snug' with views of Skiddaw, Barf Cottage is situated in the tranquil village on the edge of Derwentwater. Within an easy 20 minute walk to the market town of Keswick the cottage is a stone throw away from the local pub The Farmers Arms, a 5 minute walk from 'The Chalet' tearooms and restaurant and a 10 minute walk to Derwent and Nicole End Marinas. Recently refurbished, the cottage retains all the original features of a traditional Lakeland cottage yet at the same time offers modern fixtures, comfort and style. A small yet characterful front garden has outdoor seating to enjoy that 'post hike' drink on sunny afternoons and evenings. The cottage serves as a wonderful bolthole for couples, small groups of friends or families.
Had a lovely time at Barf Cottage all 4 generations of us mother, daughter, grandmother & grandson. Hope to return later this year. Ideal location for us.Watson

Birchgate is a lovely, traditional Lakeland stone cottage, tucked away from any passing traffic but still within a few minutes' stroll to Fitz Park, the town centre and Lake Derwentwater. The cottage has a warm and cosy feel with a real fireplace for snug winter evenings along with a chiminea outside for alfresco dining in the summer. Its own parking space completes this ideal holiday cottage.
We love the Lakes-Keswick in particular and have had a superb time in this very comfortable cottage. Our first time here- it won’t be the last!Meredith Party

A superb semi-detached bungalow with wonderful views on an attractive site within a pleasant residential area on the edge of Keswick, between Fitz Park and the lower slopes of Latrigg. ‘Blencathra’ is about a 10 minute easy stroll to Keswick’s Market Square.
Convenient for central Keswick and shops. Well equipped, though somewhere to hang coats would be helpful. Garage really useful for storing boots, bikes and kayak and children buggies. Conservatory excellent, great views, house warm and comfortable. Parking even for two cars not an issue - a real plus point for Keswick. We intend to come back.Rob

Blueberry House is a spacious four bedroom house set out over three floors. This is a very cosy house, a real home from home, close to the centre of Keswick - yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town itself. Private parking for two cars. There is free Wi-Fi internet access included in the price.
Came last New Year and just as good, if not better following improvements like shower and updated middle bathroom. Really feels like home from home- fab cottage. We will come again! Already recommended to friends and family. Thankyou.Pauls

Bridge Cottage is part of the Bridge House Complex which offers private parking, large gardens and a tennis court. The cottage itself was newly renovated in 1997 and offers a fabulous house in which to relax and unwind. It is very close to the town centre, but being off the main road offers a quiet, yet convenient position.
Lovely to be back here for the 5th year in this great cottage. Love the refurbishment – just great. Have enjoyed the convention and had lots of visits to the lake.James and Sheena Gill

Bridge House sleeps 8 and is part of the Bridge House Complex which offers private parking for 2 cars, large gardens and a tennis court.
The house has been beautifully designed is magnificently appointed and is ideally located for town. The kitchen in particular is extremely well fitted especially the table and chairs. We could not have wished for a more enjoyable base which complemented our many trips in and around the lakes. To top it all the weather was outstandingly good. All in all great visit. Thankyou very much. The Lownsbrough Family

Gold AWARD Winning Apartment 1 is part of the Bridge House Complex which offers private parking for two cars, large gardens and a tennis court.
Another family visit to apartment 1. Perfect as ever. Weather superb so eating and drinking outside a bonus. Went to see ‘Hay fever’ at the theatre. A hidden gem and vastly enjoyable. Have seen more dogs of every shape size and breed than any other holiday! Will miss morning coffee sitting in the sunshine outside Brysons ‘people and dog watching’!Groom Party
