Appletree is a 3/4 bedroom, 3 bath/shower room house in the quiet Lakeside village of Portinscale (just outside Keswick). A fabulous home with much thought and consideration given to the layout, decoration and furnishing. Very well finished offering spacious, high quality accommodation with some lovely homely touches. Wonderful fell views to the front and rear, an enclosed garden and off road parking for three cars.
A fantastic property! We've been booking with Keswick Cottages for 18 years now and have never been disappointed. We now have a dog and never thought we'd find a luxury property that allows pets. Lovely comfy home, very well equipped, comfy beds and the downstairs bedroom was perfect to allow our elderly Auntie to stay with us. Will definatly return!Thank you once again Keswick Cottages. A charming Lakeland 'snug' with views of Skiddaw, Barf Cottage is situated in the tranquil village on the edge of Derwentwater. Within an easy 20 minute walk to the market town of Keswick the cottage is a stone throw away from the local pub The Farmers Arms, a 5 minute walk from 'The Chalet' tearooms and a 10 minute walk to Derwent and Nicole End Marinas. The cottage retains all the original features of a traditional Lakeland home yet at the same time offers modern fixtures, comfort and style. A small yet characterful front garden has outdoor seating to enjoy that 'post hike' drink on sunny afternoons and evenings. The cottage serves as a wonderful bolthole for couples, small groups of friends or families.
What a little gem this cottage is. The owners have done a splendid job - it is well appointed and with lots of cosy features. Great location - for walks (we had a lovely hike to Catbells) and food (the Chalet is great). Only thing we would change is we would hvae liked to stay longer. Thank you!Lucy, William & Ella

Birchgate is a lovely, traditional Lakeland stone cottage, tucked away from any passing traffic but still within a few minutes' stroll to Fitz Park, the town centre and Lake Derwentwater. The cottage has a warm and cosy feel with a real fireplace for snug winter evenings along with a chiminea outside for alfresco dining in the summer. Its own parking space completes this ideal holiday cottage.
Well equipped, clean and comfortable cottage in convenient location. We enjoyed our stay and didn't need to use our car all week. Walks, lake, shops and theatre all walking distance from the cottage. Small supermarket nearby and Booths in Centre of Keswick made food shopping easy. Would recommend this cottage to others planning a stay in Keswick.Fran & Danny Attar

A superb semi-detached bungalow with wonderful views on an attractive site within a pleasant residential area on the edge of Keswick, between Fitz Park and the lower slopes of Latrigg. ‘Blencathra’ is about a 10 minute easy stroll to Keswick’s Market Square.
Convenient for central Keswick and shops. Well equipped, though somewhere to hang coats would be helpful. Garage really useful for storing boots, bikes and kayak and children buggies. Conservatory excellent, great views, house warm and comfortable. Parking even for two cars not an issue - a real plus point for Keswick. We intend to come back.Rob

This sophisticated first floor apartment was built in 1707 with the original Georgian features sympathetically restored. An ideal base within minutes walk of the market square, fantastic views and with two allocated parking spaces.
Apartment is very central, close to the pedestrian area and shops. Although on a main road it is very quiet. It is very comfortable and the few comments we had were answered by the management company very quickly. There is plenty of room for parking even for big cars.Mary
