The property provides a perfect base for those wishing to fell walk, tour or just relax and enjoy the beautiful Lake District.
Beautiful cottage just off the main area of Keswick. The cottage is on 3 levels with the large Garage on the bottom floor and a door to a little enclosed patio area. The next floor has a open plan kitchen living room and the third floor with 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The bathroom is compact but modern with shower. If children are going then there is stairgates available and plenty of games including jigsaws to keep them occupied. Just outside the door there is a convenient spar store. All round a beautiful cottage that we will go to again. This cottage is dog friendly.Graham

Appletree is a 3/4 bedroom, 3 bath/shower room house in the quiet Lakeside village of Portinscale (just outside Keswick). A fabulous home with much thought and consideration given to the layout, decoration and furnishing. Very well finished offering spacious, high quality accommodation with some lovely homely touches. Wonderful fell views to the front and rear, an enclosed garden and off road parking for three cars.
Our second stay here which shows it must be good! Suits our group perfectly (three couples plus dog). Beds are lovely and comfy which is really important to us. Will probably be back. Many thanksTracy Bird

A charming Lakeland 'snug' with views of Skiddaw, Barf Cottage is situated in the tranquil village on the edge of Derwentwater. Within an easy 20 minute walk to the market town of Keswick the cottage is a stone throw away from the local pub The Farmers Arms, a 5 minute walk from 'The Chalet' tearooms and a 10 minute walk to Derwent and Nicole End Marinas. The cottage retains all the original features of a traditional Lakeland home yet at the same time offers modern fixtures, comfort and style. A small yet characterful front garden has outdoor seating to enjoy that 'post hike' drink on sunny afternoons and evenings. The cottage serves as a wonderful bolthole for couples, small groups of friends or families.
What a little gem this cottage is. The owners have done a splendid job - it is well appointed and with lots of cosy features. Great location - for walks (we had a lovely hike to Catbells) and food (the Chalet is great). Only thing we would change is we would hvae liked to stay longer. Thank you!Lucy, William & Ella

Birchgate is a lovely, traditional Lakeland stone cottage, tucked away from any passing traffic but still within a few minutes' stroll to Fitz Park, the town centre and Lake Derwentwater. The cottage has a warm and cosy feel with a real fireplace for snug winter evenings along with a chiminea outside for alfresco dining in the summer. Its own parking space completes this ideal holiday cottage.
A fantastic week in Keswick – our 6th and possibly the best. Not a single day of rain! (Well not while we were out anyway.) Must recommend The Bridge at Buttermere- home cooked pub food all day so is a fantastic finish for an afternoon walking/climbing the stunning surroundings. Also fab old school veggie grub (inc mega breakfasts) at the Lakeland pedlar.Cassidy Family

A superb semi-detached bungalow with wonderful views on an attractive site within a pleasant residential area on the edge of Keswick, between Fitz Park and the lower slopes of Latrigg. ‘Blencathra’ is about a 10 minute easy stroll to Keswick’s Market Square.
The bungalow was very well equipped, clean and had fantastic views from the conservatory. Perfectly located for easy access to Keswick and wonderful walking opportunities either from the door or a short car drive away. Would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.Joan

This gold award winning spacious and stylish house is full of character and provides luxury accommodation equipped for all the family. Built in 1727, original features have been sympathetically restored with the addition of modern facilities. This house provides you with the best of both worlds and is located right at the heart of Keswick. Boasting use of a large shared garden & tennis court. Lovely fell views.
We had a great week in Keswick and Bridge House was perfect! The children loved their holiday house and the garden. (Why is it that their very similar climbing frame at home isn't as appealing as the one on holiday?!) Our 3 yr old loved his "wing" of the house with his own bathroom! The kitchen was beautiful and the location was very convenient. As for Keswick Cottages- we have been very impressed and appreciated your customer service- the upgrade to Bridge House was very welcome and we thank you very much for that.Carolyn F

Gold award winning Apartment 3 is part of the Bridge House Complex which offers private parking for two cars, large shared garden and a tennis court.
We took a long weekend booking with a group of friends some in apartment 2, some in apartment 3, above and below each other which is ideal for a large party. I've stopped at Bridge House properties before and knew what to expect but others who hadn't visited were mightily impressed. The apartments are spacious and well equipped and you have the town on your doorstep, what's not to like. Keswick is one of the finest Lake District towns and there are numerous walks you can do from Keswick without needing the car, which is safely tucked away in the courtyard parking. Try Skiddaw, Latrigg, Cat Bells or Walla Crag and then go for a pint in the Dog and Gun and finish off with half a Cow Pie in the George, word of warning though don't be tempted by the full Pie!Hodgson
