Many thanks to keswick cottages for there help in sorting out our accommodation at Ghyll Bank after the tree fell in the storms and took out the electricity. We all had a great time even though the weather was wet and windy. We have been with keswick cottages many times and will always use them again. once again many thanks to all at Keswick Cottages. ps Our favourite cottage is Ghyll Bank.john wainwright from ormskirk 15th February 2020
The cottage is well located with walks right from the door, and a friendly mariner down the road where we could store our boat for the week for a small fee. It was comfortable but robust enough to survive 4 teenagers/young adults in our party! We appreciated the generous number of single beds. If you could add towels as standard that would be a nice additional touch!Edwards Family from Germany 27th July 2019
Wonderful cottage, couldn't fault it! We really hope to be back. Very many thanks indeed. The Stewart Family 16th June 2019
This is a great cottage in a fantastic location. The cottage itself is well equipped, comfortable and spacious - we went in December, and importantly it was warm. The cottage is close to walks from the door and many a short journey away. The company we booked through were helpful, efficient and responsive. I would definitely recommend a visit.Betts from North Chingford 4th January 2019

This was our first stay at Ghyll Bank. Clean, extremely well equipped and lovely comfortable beds. Unbeatable views of Causey Pike and Cat Bells and excellent walking straight out of the door. A nice gentle evening stroll takes you to one of our favourite watering holes, the Swinside. A fabulous, relaxing break.Carolyn & Howard from Anglesey 10th July 2017
Wonderful holiday again, lovely cottage and friendly, helpful staff. Have already booked again for next year, will be our fourth visit to Ghylll Bank.Hilary Sutherland from Hollingbourne Kent 6th May 2017
Fantastic remote location, but near enough to Keswick. Great location for walks, without needing to drive. The cottage is perfect and quant. Had some great evening meals at Mary Mount and The Chalet Tea Rooms for lunch or afternoon tea. I hope we will be back next year for our annual pilgrimage to the lakes. And great service from Keswick Cottages - thank you!Mountford Family from Essex 29th October 2016
We had a fantastic stay at Ghyll Bank this summer (Even in the rain). The property is very impressive, homely and well equipt. There were 7 adults for our stay and we were all very comfortable. There are great walks to do right from your doorstep, stunning views from every single window and Keswick town is only a short drive away. We had a Tesco delivery sent to the property during our stay too without any issue - and were pleased to find Wi-Fi too! We had a very memorable stay and each of us would love to come back again some time.Kirsty Brinkman 6th August 2016
This was in a lovely location for peace and quiet and walks. The property was well maintained and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Pradhan Family from Ryde 4th June 2016
We had a great week in Ghyll Bank in November. The cottage was superb - spacious, well appointed and comfortable ... home from home. Surrounded by mountains and miles from civilisation - the stunning location was a bonus and a delight. There were plenty of scenic walks from the door - the Newlands Valley was ours for the week! The wet Lakeland weather could not dampen the spirit!!. This was our second stay at the cottage and we will probably return, A big thank you to Keswick Cottages - the personal service they provide comes highly recommended.Cooper Family from West Midlands 7th November 2015

Second stay at this lovely, well equipped cottage. Perfect location for all our Fell walking. Lovely views from all windows. Tescos delivered our shopping so no time wasted in stocking up for the week. Reduced occupancy was a real bonus for 2 couples. Would certainly come back again in the future and no hesitation in recommending to anyone who loves this part of the Lakeland.Lindy Stokes from Dorset 28th April 2012
